This Otabil receives free money from the poor and then build university that charges higher than government making profits without paying taxes and call it 'charity'. Their sort of big men pastors hop from one expensive place to another where toilet facilities are always available so they cannot understand why the poor who sponsor them to enjoy 'pee' on walls and cannot afford toilets.

Yes, they may have reduced themselves to animals by faith without necessarily making their 'heads' to work, in the sense that if they 'pee' on streets then how are they increased or blessed to pay tithes for pastors to pee in limousines? The trees have already began to show their fruits, he who has eyes has seen it long time.

Honestly as believers, do we see our tithes spend on the widows, orphans, strangers, poor, etc just as the bible says?

How do I rate this pastor who says he has the holy spirit and he even baptise Ghanaians(women) in Ghana in their washing basins(bathes) with his dirty hands? Ghanaians in France have troubles with these false men of God in our mists.Watch out and dont allow them in your appartements for they will take your wife and children by convincing your wife that you are demon possessed.They only see what is the eyes of others whilst what is their eyes have made them blind.

That's so gross. When you're going out and won't be back for a couple of hours drink very little water and other fluids and eat just enough to sustain your body hours before you leave home. Some amount of self restraint and discipline is needed to avoid embarassment and public ridicule. We can all help to keep our towns, cities and communities clean and healthy. I think law enforcement should start prosecute people who pee and defecate in public as a deterrent to future offenders. Public littering must attract heavy fines or imprisonment to deter people with bad habit.

The bibles says that where there is no vision the people will perish. Our leaders don't have vision for the nation and the people car confused as to where they can use the toilet and bathroom when in the city. Does it make them look and act like animals? I don't think so! In life everyone want something better even the most uneducated.

Look a very senior officer who was driven in a V8 vehicle came to my office in ministries and needed to do it but we did not have any such place because we do have running water so the place has been locked up. where do you do it under such circumstances?

Help me out here. In the US there is nothning like "public" bathrooms/restrooms (as we think of them in Ghana). The so-called public bathrooms/restrooms in the US are after all not "public" because they're part of the facilities of the business/company/service being rendered at that particular place. For example we have bath/rest rooms at airports, fast food joints, parks, amusement places, store, etc. These are all part of the companies' facilities. There is nothing like an isolated building or place you can find as a public restroom, so in some sense they're not 'public". In Ghana the government runs public toilet/restrooms, but they are not clean. It's bad idea for gov't to run such a facility. We should encourage businesses in Ghana to include rest/bathrooms as part of their facilities.

The solution to this problem however, is not for the government to construct public places of convinience. To solve this problem of citizens urinating and defacating in public places, our paliamentarians need to do their job and pass bills compelling all peolple who do business or provide services to the general public to as a mandate make available such places of convinience for the the public they serve.

If you lived in Ghana before you emigrated then you were just being your old forgotten self. You knew what to expect so why didn't you make plans to forestall any inconveniences while you were out there in the streets? I'd have abstained from fluids including water at least two hours before I stepped out. I'd also carry a bottle in my bag or car ready to use away from the prying eyes of the public. You could have done better than what you did, Mr America.

In my father's country farm, there is no running water, and no septic toilets! No, no. In many town houses in Ghana there is no running water, and no septic toilets. The citizens dig open pit toilets about 100 meters from the last home on the outskirts of town. The people manage to use the toilets to defecate, but it is not convenient to walk over a hundred meters just to urinate, so everybody, including the women, urinate in the nearest bush, or on the wall as you choose to call it. Are you trying to say you have authority from God to call all people who live in such situations as animals?
Please exercise some circumspection before using you position to make such pronouncements, because they may be interpreted wrongly by you audience. The fact that we all do not have the same facilities that pertain to the Western World does not in any way make us less human. Mahama and his government will say: "There are challenges, but it is not all gloom!"

Plenty people are toileting in black plastic bags and tossing it along the roadside or in the bushes near people's residences. We won't even mention the beaches...full of human waste in the sand. Besides, plastic tossed all over the community pollutes the environment in ways you can't imagine. It talks a century for plastic to erode to nothing.
Create public portable toilets across Ghana to gain income for folks in need of an income. They whom will charge a small amount, keep them sanitized and keep waste trunks coming to empty them every few days. Such increases employment in the country. regardless of fellow Ghanaians negative stereo-type words an entrepreneur will hear. In the end, better pockets full than always empty...money-less.
All improves tourism too.

Those who live in the world's big cities and towns are people like you and I but the difference is over there most of their citizens are law abiding and those who happen to break the laws are prosecuted as a deterrent. Back home people break the laws with impunity but don't want to face prosecution. Otabil is right. You must practise good eating habits hours before you set off especially if you have a weak bladder.

Go on to say that these same white slave buyers were xtians and that their trade was endorsed by the church and governments of Europe both Orthodox and protestant.

The Portuguese for example were backed by the roman catholic church on their slavery business , in fact their most famous slave king King John the pious, was known to be deeply religious and a fundamental christian who was always surrounded by priests and with bible on hand. He was so pious he never married. He also requested the establishment of the Inquisition in Portugal in 1547 and directed the construction of slave factorys in africa to supply Brazil with slaves. This man was a deeply religious xtian and slave trader!!! Otabil is a self hating African who exalts the same religion that enslaved his forefathers and continues to enslave him. He should shut up about "spirit of devaluation".
