  Long life expectancy is a sign of better governance and economy and Mahama must be praised for this. Ghana on course to better from worse left behind by the previous presidents.

They worked harder for their money and life style. God is also blessing them becus they did not chop Ghana money. Why are u guys so desperate to bring politics into everything sensible ???. U are so sad and to be honest leave politics alone and GET A LIFE .......GOSH

  Did not a scribe, (Nunoo-Mensah), tell those who could not cope with the hardship pack bag and baggage and leave Ghana?

  Ghana is one of the few countries in the world where the mandatory retirement age is 60 years. In most country the mandatory retirement age is 65 years. I am amazed when I go to Ghana and see some of my still able-bodied classmates already struggling in retirement because they are 60. It is not a healthy thing to retire healthy people at 60 which is now the new 50. Ghana's retirement policy is driving well educated people into poverty and early death. A government that has no safety net for the elderly should not retire people at an age when they are still productive.
