Be humble and behave just as your size is because your huge ego and inability to button your mouth will cost you big time. Remember, using the motorcade as a foreign minister and reckless pronouncements cut you down to size. Please learn to acknowledge and appreciate your actual stature at the moment, pray for wisdom and the grace of Almighty God. Do not allow the NPP votes to go into your bloody head. It only by God's favour that you will attain your aim. If David Cameron is your personal friend, deal with him that way not publicly since you have no mandate to assume such responsibility. Be humble and cautious, Nana.

By the way, Nana Addo was given two options at Oxford after he refused to heed warnings to stop drug use. Either he leaves quietly or be kick out which will make it difficult for him to again admission to any other school. He decided, with the approval of his father, to leave quietly. He returned to Ghana and did a different course at Legon. This is the reason why he does not have a law certificate.

However, he was called to the Bar through the influence of his father. Remember, soon after our independence, there was great need for Lawyers so avenues were created to give such opportunity to people considered to be educated enough to understand our laws and how they are applied. This is equivalent to Justices of the Peace we have in some developed countries.

On the day he was called, he was the only one sworn-in which is not the case under normal circumstances.

This is below the belt. It is a blatant lie. Since when has the UP/NPP been promoting continental integration?

Wasnt the UP/NPP firmly and violently against Kwame Nkrumahs attempt to unify Africa? Or perhaps is that different from integration? Wasnt it the UP/NPP that consistently castigated and vilified Nkrumah for going on wild dreams to unify Africa only so that he could control all of the continent?

At least one thing seems to be consistent in Akuffo-Addos congratulatory message and that is his objection for Scotland to gain their just independence. In the same way, the UP/NPP also resisted the struggle for independence of Ghana and actually personally petitioned the British Head of State, the Queen, to annul the agreement to grant independence to Ghana at the 11th hour. Nothing has changed in the NPP and view and approach of world affairs.

I also dont think it was a diplomatically wise thing for Akuffo Addo to congratulate Cameron for somehow maintaining his colonial hold on Scotland. It would have been more politically sensible to congratulate the people of Scotland for voting the way they did.

It is inevitable that at some point in the future, the Scots, like all freedom-loving people in the world, would gain their independence. When that happens, they may hold this statement by Akuffo-Addo against us.
