And then BBC NEWS in typical fashion, describes the tantrum-like kicking of tables by Yaa Asantewa, in the characteristic and uncouth manner of her father, as a polite way of asking Wanluv to move his table? Yesu Christo! Omankpatio! BBC NEWS, to make matters worse, also goes on to further describe class 4 pupils as teenagers? They are minors for Christs sake. What children at that age do would be teasing each other, sometimes use vulgar language. But to go physical and throw a blow was a clear indication that that he came from a very bad home - apparently he had observed how his parents were using thier fist on him, or how his fathter was beating his mother. May also be that he started smokein weed at very young age.

We also knew of teachers who smoked weed in the school. We had students who "jumped" wall to.run home to see their parents, go.to achimota, or the city. Students who robbed, broke others chopbox for food. Heck, I had friends who were 3,4 yrs older than me but we're in the same class as me. These dudes would have sex with some of the female workers st the school for special diet,.foods, preferential treatment, no siesta etc.....at 11yrs old, most of my friends got suspended or outright terminated from the school for this. Including teachers as well. We the students had girl friends on campus and we will.find out that there girls were engaging in Sexual relationship with some of these teachers for good grades. We were in the same classes with these girls and we knew how dumb they were. So we the boys: the donkor brothers, ben tay, obeng brown, sefa kwarteng, etc will creep around the school at nite and we will see these teachers and female students in the bush, behind the classroom block engaging in sex....Wow! In class 5/6, many of my friends were either suspended or outright dismissed from st. John's. Funny enuff, my name was never mentioned. Later, I realised that my dad was involved in Sexual relations with the headmistress at the school. It wasn't until I was 18that I learnt from my pops that he used to buy gifts from yorkville, 5th Avenue for this headmistress(this halfco woman with a forehead like mt. Afsdjato) amd that they used to see each other on the low. That's why I was spared....NSEM PII!!n!.......who remembers Mr. Welbeck..bad! Mr. Odame...bad! Mr. Twum and Mr. Mensah...bad weed smokers wicked niggas. Mr. Ltchere was good and then he knew too much so he was reprimanded and left for achimota school. He would also perform menial, sweeping duties on campus. Looking back, this guy was mentally insane and needed to be housed at ankaful. As kids, sell didn't know any better so we will often make fun at him. He was the epitome of hustling. I don't know where he lived, what bills he paid or how much he spent on food. But he always ate for free at St johns and could prolly be a wealthy man somewhere. The ultimate free loader. We used to give him our dinninghall food sometimes. Crazy memories!

It is in the nature of children to (mis)behave like that and as they grow older, of course they conform more to 'normal' and the regimented demands of adult human behavior. This is despite the fact that many adults still continue to behave like that.

If you say "no normal child at Primary 4 will do that", then what you perhaps want to say is that most children at Primary 4 are abnormal.
