That's his personal belief and standard.

We all have those personal and individual standards.

Maybe if people could look beyond the 'crudeness' with which he put his views across, they will realize that in a way he's shocking Ghanaians into taking personal hygiene seriously which could translate into people taking the cleanliness of their surroundings seriously too. What we all this cholera scare running rampant in modern day Ghana?

"Cleanliness is next to Godliness", they say.

So stop attacking the guy despite his crudeness and live a hygienic and healthy life and make cholera a thing of the past.

Do you like to be around someone who smells to the high heavens?

If your answer is no, then why do you think he should?

He might not have been politically correct in the deliverance of his message and views but sometimes the shock is needed to push people to take a good look at an issue which otherwise, would not have come to the forefront.

Having people who can think and speak outside the box will go a long way to help Ghana.
Muzzling people with an independent mind and streak is not the way to go, especially in modern day Ghana.

On a broader scale, look at what the 'YENTIE OBIAA' mantra of the NDC government has done to our Nation. It has muzzled a lot of experienced well-meaning Ghanaians from speaking their minds and offering suggestions. That attitude has landed us in an economic and a political abyss of uncertainty.

So let's learn by listening to people and not condemning them and we might a thing or two good things from them, no matter who crude or politically incorrect they might sound.

Perhaps I was also prejudiced in the same way till I lived in the Upper West region for about two years. I realised that sometimes the environment can make one 'neglect' some personal hygiene. I travelled to some of the villages, and I was shocked people could not get water to drink let alone to bath. The little water they could get was not clean, but they had to travel long distance for just an unwholesome small water. I asked myself, if I happened to live in this village what would my hygiene look like? Sometimes, it's the place a person is born into or living which makes him/her compromise with some basic hygiene principles.

The girl wore a nice and beautiful perfume all around her. But when I delved into her, this cloud of putrefaction engulfed my room so much so that I can't explain. In fact the smell was so powerful that it turned me off. It took some weeks to get rid of that smell.
Then I came to Ghana in 2012 and befriended two girls from the north. I always go for them for their faithfulness, a Christian and a Muslim. Even though both of them were born in Kumasi, I never smelt a wimp from these girls when we made love. They were very clean and neat.
I even nearly married the Muslim but her father wanted me to convert to Islam first to which I refused.
So if Ayariga's women stunk, it doesn't mean all northern or Ghanaian women stink. Look at this white Australian with all the hygienic and sanitary resources at her disposal and the two northern Ghanaian girls. Ayariga could be a victim of circumstances.

Not true ! Maybe Hassan Ayariga is referring to Women from his Town in the Northern Region.However, I can honestly and Sincerely infer that, in my experience,I have never ever encountered a smelly Woman -Down South in both mouth and "downthere".
Again, not all smells from the mouth,if any, has to do with toothbrush.Some is from the Head of the person.Ayariga doesn't know that So, such a person( Hassan Ayariga) was a presidential candidate for a political party in Ghana.May God have mercy on the Moth'land
