If you have not been appointed, you can't take oath of office. Once you get an appointment letter, pay follows. Do you think they will be sitting at home a whole year without salary?

  Diplomacy is not conducted like Ghana politics. Ambassadors are not appointed like ministers. They are assigned and given letters of credence after several negotiations between the sending and receiving countries.
