Let me remind all the NPP members the argument Nana Akufo-Addo made at the party’s Congress in Sunyani in 1998 in his opposition to giving candidate John Agyekum Kufuor the second chance after losing to Rawlings in 1996. Here was Nana Akufo: “I call on members of the party [NPP] to embrace change in leadership of the party. Such changes are far from harming the fortunes of the party. Change improves the chances of political parties as a new face eventually means new ideas, new methods and new strategies…any candidate elected as the NPP's flag-bearer has already secured 30% of the total valid votes. Failure to garner the remaining 20% plus 1 means the candidate has failed, and therefore must be changed” (ref: Ghana Daily Graphic, October 8, 1998). If John Kufuor back then did not deserve to be nominated for the second consecutive time, why is it okay now for Nana Akufo-Addo to seek the party’s nomination the third consecutive time, having led NPP to two painful electoral defeats in 2008 and 2012? Well, it seems like Nana Akufo-Addo is getting ready to take NPP to the electoral slaughterhouse in 2016 all over again. Let the self-denials ignore the warnings

CI is definately a better managed country. Possibly due to a better leadership and support from France. If Ghana had gone through the brief war they had am sure we would have been taken back some 10 years with the cedi easily exchanging at 1000ghs to 1 USD. In CI nobodies cash savings lost value unless the individual committed part of it to the war. So after the war it was returning from a Western type holiday where you over spent life simply continued as usual. Yes there are some refugees but they are mainly those very close to the loosing party from the war. Visit Abidjan and you will see that it is definately better managed. In such a place it pays also to be patriotic and i see that amongst a lot of my colleagues working there. In GH most of the decisions and the practices by the politicians and unforetunately the present regime are not visibly friendly to the masses and can only breed un patriotic citizens. On one radio talk show about the CI and GH boarder problems most people callin in said CI should have the land/Oil as after all their situation has indeed worsened with the oil!! this is the truth!! in my view a FULL university built from scatch from the oil proceeds or any other visible edifice would have sent the right message than all the un profitable investments being put in the North which are necessary but possibly being done at the wrong time!! My views may not matter but as an individual i pay about ghs 7000 as tax monthly but i dont have a tarred road , nor gutter, nor any other proper social service to my house!! not sure it will be the same in CI or any other proper African country(not many though!!)

When true African leaders question the intentions of the neo-colonialists, they are eliminated by the West with the help of these stooges. Some do it by subtle means....others by means of force.

His duty basically was to draw the attention to the relative peaceful atmosphere there for the investors to invest in West Africa.
