Each day, someone new claiming to know exactly what ails the national economy creeps out of their stinking hole to make absurd pronouncements.....this Vladimir fellow is such a type....where was he when the NPP and other governments before it devastated the economy the consequences of which Ghanaians are now suffering from? He was like many of the other blowhards silent.....Mahama has taken enough of this crap and those who wish him ill should for once keep their traps shut because the economy will eventually recover....approaching the IMF was wise and prudent....foreign investors now have hope in the recovery of the economy and they will line up to invest...so, shut Mr. Lecturer at Legon......

Yes, he was in Ghana alright during NPP's days of our dear presidency some decade and a half ago and cherished the then, Kofuor's abysmal governance wholeheartedly without a voice, probably due to kickbacks which handsomely or fancifully graced his path. Now then, none is coming his way any longer hence his clarion vocal of resentment about everything Mahama. The legacy of Nkrumah's yesteryear is a reminder to the silent discerning majority and come 2016 they will speak once more for all to take note.

As a Ghanaian, I agree with most Ghanaians that the economy is in bad shape. What we have to consider is how to get the country stabilized and moving forward. Personally, Going to the IMF is a no no. We are an independent country and should show that we are capable of "making informed decisions and Managing out economy". I have heard a lot of Panel discussions, but What I can tell from these discussions is not a solution but rather rantings on how poor the current government is doing. Well, they are doing poorly but they are still in office and they are now taking us in the lion's den what are we doing as country men. How to we team up to come up with better solutions that the IMF? what are the necessary facts that have to be established and what knowledge can be derived from those facts to arrive at a better solution than the borrowing from the IMF. We need solutions other the the IMF.

If he is a guru dat he thinks he is, he should humble himself and contest for even a position at the constituency level of hiss CPP and have a feel of what politics is.
