  This is the kind of 'sillyness' that goes on with the managers of Ghana power installations. There is a formal agreement between Ghana and Nigeria to supply natural gas. The terms of agreements should be honored albeit any unforeseen circumstances. What is 'BONUS' being referred to here? What crap is this!!!!!
  This is an insult to those who crafted the gas agreement and Ghanaians as a whole.
  These 'energy managers' come off as economic saboteurs with power to thump their noses at the public.
  
  Prediction: The GAS pipeline in the western region will come online and there will still be EXCUSES.

  There is a place where you can be sure that you would find a representative (MP) from every part of Ghana year round gathered together to deliberate on the future and the current state of this country. Where is that? Parliament house of course. If there is such a place then how should the place and the people there be treated in the scheme of things? What priority should such a house be given in the governance of the country? If there is such a place then what kind of people should we send there and how should we assess their performance?
  
  Parliament must also provide a readily available renovated residence in Sakumono to a newly elected parliamentarian. Accommodation in Accra/Tema is expensive and not every MP-elect may have the money to rent a house as he or she may have exhausted his or her funds running for office.

  The Energy problem that started in the late 70's till date in my opinion is incompetence on past and current leaders after Nkrumah. None of them had the vision to drive the country on the basic development plan layed out by the CPP under Nkrumah. The country was ruled shambly, coup de tat's and attempts every year. There was no accurate plans regarding what has to be done to stabilise the needs of the country and the citizens, and that is what we are reaping today. The only solution would be to implement the Akosombo accord from the basics, and fight corruption. Only the truth shall stabilise the country at all fronts for a better Ghana.

  Why is President Mahama and his Energy Minister, Mr. Kofi Buah refusing to engage the promoters of the 2000MW Ketu Power Project?
  
  Mr. President please remember that if you lose the election in 2016, poor electricity supply would be one of the reasons, and surely your Governments apathy to the people of Ketu and the 2000MW Ketu Power Project will certainly be one cause.
  
  Your Minister and Government cronies are holding significant investments such as the 2000MW Ketu Power Project down so as to promote their feeble and irrational self-centered projects facilitated by the tax payers money.
  
  Why on earth would Hon. Kofi Buah be buying power barges now when the 2000MW Ketu Power Project started with during Dr. Oteng Adjei's tenure should be nearing completion now?
  
  Why do we build a gas processing plant when we could have used the entire associated gas as fuel for a steam generator to produce electricity?
  
  At the end we would need another Commission of Inquiry on Energy to explain to Ghanaians how the opportunities that came our way through the Energy Ministry were frustrated away!
  
  Alas, but the would have to work in darkness with lanterns or 'bobo'!
  
  What they are not telling my fellow Ghanaians is that the Akosombo would shut down 4 of its six turbines in 2015, leaving you and me with ONLY three days of electricity in a week.
