Some of us are reliably informed that the Awoamefia impostor Agboba and his gang, on trail at an Accra Fast Track for another contempt of court, are behind this dastardly plot. Torgbui Fiti's offence? His principled refusal to throw his weight and support behind the impostor.

The last time the issue cropped up, Lawyer Chris Ackummey, their spokesman and spinner, assured us on the CEANA and the Eweland lists that such a plot wouldn't continue. We all have his post to tender in evidence.

The level of lawlessness these rogues exhibit, simply cos they think they have the support of the President and key persons in the NDC, is just too much!

As for those of you who see this debacle as another opportunity to indulge in anti-Ewe diatribes, you are just plain sick in the head!

Asante gold weights and ornaments, making of golden stools, adinkra cloth (bears the name of Akan King who led the teaching of the art to the Asantes), war formation (form the Akwamu), organisational and taxation system (from the Bonos) etc., etc.

Chiefs wearing gold ornaments is ancient African custom not only limited to the Akans, talk less of Asantes. Nobody is therefore copying any Asantes, fools!
