Instead of taking advantage of the Nkrumah holiday that Mills has giving to CPP, they get on the stage and talk foolishness and have no new message. We all knew that Fathia was not in Guinea with Nkrumah, the songs were just because most Ghanaians had had it with Nkrumah then, that is all. My family was harassed during that time due to my dad's position in the government, but it subsided later. The truth though is that the end of Nkrumah's life was not very pleasant and most of the CPP folks and his wife abandoned him, thanks to Acheampong and a few others who tried to help but by then it was bit too late, Nkrumah was too sick. Nkrumah did his part, I hope that CPP will revamp itself -- but I guess it is hoping against hope with the useless leaders they have.

The death of Nigerian President Umaru Yar'Adua, at 58, should be on everyone's mind. Akufo Addo by all account is a good man who loves his country dearly we love him back even more and thank him for that, yet his posthumous presidential intentions are glaringly not what Ghana needs now

Most of the things he took credit for had been started by the British, our colonial masters. For instance Tema Motorway was on the drawing board when he took over and Akosombo Dam was not his brainchild. KNUST was established by Asantehene and the British. Surprisingly, most of the things he takes credit for were never initiated by him

Independence, for instance, was sought for by many and achieved under the aegis and cunningness of Kofi Nwiah, trickster and schemer extraordinaire. Well, all along I have been asking how and under what circumstances "Francis Kofi Nwiah" was able to change his name to "Kwame Nkrumah". I know that it is permissible for anybody to change his name anytime he or she wishes but it is strange and beyond comprehension for one to change his birthday from Friday to Saturday ie from Kofi to Kwame. This is what makes me suspicious of Kofi Nwiah or Kwame Nkrumah. He claimed that his date of birth was 21st September 1909. This day according to the 20th century Calendar was a Tuesday!!! So was Nkrumah born on a Tuesday, a Friday or a Saturday? We must find out what he was up to with all these very strange findings. He was indeed cunning and only preyed on the emotions of the Ghanaian masses. It was my wish that the president would set up a committee to investigate before declaring Nkrumah's "unknown" birthday a holiday.

When he took over we had trade surplus running into millions of Pound Sterling but when he was forced out we had a trade deficit of several million pounds sterling!! This was the result of bad governance. He should have been overthrown earlier than 1966. We all saw good governance under K4. To me K4 is the best president Ghana has ever had. Apart from that, he spent the rest of the time selling many of the state companies and institutions that Nkrumah had established, in order to balance his badly managed budgets and in the process, quietly make a tidy pile of money on the side for himself and his crony colonial masters.

To say that Kufuor was the best President in our history is like to say that the moon shines during the day. It just simply does not make sense to think or to say so. Even Kufuor himself would not as much as dare compare himself to Nkrumah in any way, and he knows that.

As for the mischievous white lie that the British left Nkrumah some money, it can only exist in the befuddled mind of an unapologetic voluntary slave who only wants to cover up and atone for the vicious crimes against humanity of his beloved slave-masters and their local hirelings.

I had never ever thought that any imperialist anywhere could be charitable, but even if this illogical tall tale about colonial dictators bequeathing such a large amount of capital to their victims in the former Gold Coast were to be true, lets make the following analogy.

A stranger forcibly invites himself to live in your house for over 200 centuries and not only freely uses everything that you own in your house - including your wife, but also maltreats your family and randomly sells off your property to make some money exclusively for himself during that period of time. Finally, when you have had enough of it and you throw him out of your house, he gives you a paltry parting gift of GHC200.00 for your troubles. Would that contemptible gesture of false gratitude, suit you to the extent that the issue becomes one of serious conflict of accuracy in the family?

So Mr AAA, is this how far your thinking goes as a human being? If so, then you have a lot of work to do to catch up with the rest of 'thinking' humanity.

But it takes the common man on any street corner in Ghana with some common sense and or a Ghanaian intellectual with Godly principles to know facts from fiction. It is up to each one of us as Ghanaians to ask a simple question of ourselves: why do we continue to have this much political chaos if Nkrumah, the one devil of an elected officer of state has been out of the way for 40+ years?

The facts are that most people, even those hateful miscreants of Nkrumah, know that we continue to fight over penny leftovers in our national coffers because we replaced a presumed dictator in Nkrumah with lying, thieving tribal bastards from the Kotoka and Afrifa duo through the unrepentant murderer J.J. Rawlings to Kufour/Atta-Mills and Mahama presidents who could never carry Nkrumah's jockstraps. In every nation where a good section of citizens can be idiotic and incapable of logical thinking, there is bound to be chaos and unruly "kokoase" men and women who need the likes of Nkrumah to put the fear of nation into them. The resentment that can be derived from disciplining the undisciplined is what brought on a Ghana of free loaders who believe there’s is life free of hard work, blood and tears. As such anyone promise of fun on a fantasy island got expected results only pied pipers can dream off. Refusing to admit the 1966 coup was a mistake is not new, the people who loved it have all but left with some enjoying life away from Ghana while the few that returned have been nothing but thieves selling snake oil to idiotic Ghanaians who still await streets flowing with milk and honey. Yes Dr Danso. Many of us remember the song, especially those of us who were in secondary schools in the late 60s. But as we grew up and delved into Geography, we realised that Palm trees did not, do not and cannot grow in Guinea which has been and is still a semi- Sahel country. Palm trees grow only in forest regions. The song was concocted by Nkrumah's enemies to further denigrate him when he was overthrown by the UP/ NPP.
