The country as a whole is damn poor and many people are equally poor and for a government official—NOT DOING ANY SUBSTANTIVE WORK FOR THE NATION, to waste that much money on rent alone is INSANE, Mr. Twum Boafo. Don't waste the nation's money on luxurious things and accommodation, especially a woman who has SHAMEFULLY admitted that she doesn’t own any housing property in Accra or anywhere else in Ghana. WHAT A FAILURE IN LIFE?? Is she not a lawyer? But, she has the audacity to waste the taxpayers money on her damn self?

With all these bungalows, free this and free that for our "DO -NOTHING" government officials is bankrupting the country and only FOOLS like Twum Boafo wouldn't admit it.

According to Twum-Boafo “Paying $4,500 a month at AU Village, is it strange? People are renting apartments at Cantonments and paying 5000, is it strange?" The question this good for nothing Mahama appointee should answer is, are the people he is referring to also paying from the public purse? If not, then, what is his point? This woman is the one to check misappropriation of public funds when she herself by her behaviour is appropriating public funds.

Unless of course, the people he is referring to are also government appointees paying at the expense of the tax payer then the comparison is irrelevant.

I suspect Twum-Boafo is not alone but speaking for the powers that recommended Lauretta Vivian Lamptey to the late President Mills for the position of CHRAJ Commissioner. He is preparing public opinion for her to be maintained in the position but he will fail. She must go.

If there is anybody out there who typifies the rot, canker and corruption in the NDC, it is this guy Kwadwo Twum-Boafo. Here and there he will come out to lambast critics of the NDC government, but as Executive Secretary of Tema based Ghana Free Zones Board, he is basically a civil servant and is supposed to stay out of politics. How come he has been let loose on the leash and allowed to spew garbage without any reprimand from the public services commission or by parliament? He is what is called a rent-seeker in public administration. What an irony, "rent -seeker".

If you cannot see anything wrong with $4500 dollars monthly rent, at the same time you are costing the people over $180,000 and counting renovation, in a place like Ghana, then God help us. Twum-Boafo occasional pronouncements are his way of keeping himself in the good books of the NDC.

While we are at it, the CHRAJ boss is roping us for $456 dollars per day rent in a hotel. You do the math, $456 per day works out to be $13,680 (456 X 30) monthly rent in our Ghana. Is this fool serious? What at all is wrong with this NDC miscreants. I live in Canada, and under any circumstance, a $13,680 United States dollar monthly rent will be considered outrageous.

Upon all that Lauretta Lamptey, the CHRAJ boss will have other perks and benefits like chauffeur etc. Add that to her salary and she could be causing us upwards of $30,000 per month on the minimum. What has she achieved for us since her appointment? Seriously is some big fish bonking her, is that why no action has been taken against her?

The money spent alone on the renovation of her official residence $182,000 US dollars could have put up a brand new residence in Ghana. It is not difficult to imagine that the fleece of our meagre resources have been kept ongoing because she herself is benefiting from it. Who spends 3 years to renovate a house when all that it might have required was new paint, carpet, fridge, stove and furniture?

Twum-Boafo himself should be investigated for corruption for saying what he said. It is possible he is saying that to inoculate himself from possible investigation from CHRAJ or similar bodies.

As a civil servant he should be fired by now for foraging and foraying into politics.
