Massa, when a blindman says he will stone you, he already has his foot on one. These people have already stashed their 2016 campaign funds somewhere safe (world cup fiasco, RLG, GYEEDA, judgement debt payments, Wayome etc) so they careless what IMF says their belly full already. This is NDC we are talking about, good at manupulating the electorate and lying to it unsuspecting followers (remember the $20m head quarters and Wayome) but hopelessly hopeless when it comes to running the economy.

There is a place where you can be sure that you would find a representative (MP) from every part of Ghana year round gathered together to deliberate on the future and the current state of this country. Where is that? Parliament house of course. If there is such a place then how should the place and the people there be treated in the scheme of things? What priority should such a house be given in the governance of the country? If there is such a place then what kind of people should we send there and how should we assess their performance?

Parliament must also provide a readily available renovated residence in Sakumono to a newly elected parliamentarian. Accommodation in Accra/Tema is expensive and not every MP-elect may have the money to rent a house as he or she may have exhausted his or her funds running for office.

Does it have to take the IMF to whip a sense of responsibility and prudent fiscal management into the heads of the Prez and his Cabinet? It is a shame for the Dep. Finance Minister to assume that we will be so elated to hear that gov't overspending at elections year will be a thing of the past because of IMF. They really have lost their sense of shame and embarrassment for such incompetence, greed and wickedness. To jubilate in such "glorified shame and embarrassment" is the height of gross ineptitude and leadership paralysis.
