Forensic scientists should check the hair of the woman. Without a proper database and DNA evidence that is computerised, it would be a mammoth task to find the woman.

CCTV should be installed in all hotels.

Was it a prostitute who killed the man? or a girl-friend?

Please, stop blaming foreigners or Whites who tend to be the victims for such heinious crimes. If you have any blame to plaster on anyone, throw it on your fellow Citizens, especially those who resort to Prostitution, and parade the corridors where these visitors become their unsuspected preys.

Prostitution is everywhere. I admit. And it is more acute where Businesses are growing, like Nations where Oil is newly discovered, or new Government Policies have caused a boom in foreign Investor Participation.

Ghana has been portrayed all over the World as a most friendly and peaceful Nation. But that image may soon be tainted with this level of crime. We would lose lots of Tourism "Dollars" and serious Businesses, if we do not nip this trend in the bud.

A bungling burglar in the USA has been arrested after he left his mobile phone on charge at the house of one of his victims. The man was disturbed while rifling through rooms in the house in Washington DC and jumped out of a window to escape Will and Guy have learned.

Police searched the house later and were surprised to find a cell phone, that didn't belong to anyone at the house, charging in a socket.

Officers called one of the numbers in his contacts, told them the phone owner had been involved in an accident and asked for his name. That led to the 25 year old man being arrested and later charged with ten burglaries.

For the past few years, it seems like more dangerous criminals are surfacing in Ghana. I wonder if it has anything to do with our discovery of Oil, or the growing financial difficulties among the larger population, or both.

For the past few years, it seems like more dangerous criminals are surfacing in Ghana. I wonder if it has anything to do with our discovery of Oil, or the growing financial difficulties among the larger population, or both.

Has anyone seen such a trend in any of the other Nations where Oil was also discovered recently? My hunch is that the Oil discovery surely invites into the country many more Business Investors who become easy targets for criminals who believe the Businessmen carry considerable cash in foreign currency on them.

In our case, the rush for Gold might also have contributed to the rise in these violent crimes.

The Tourist Industry together with its supervising Ministry as well as the Ministries of Interior and Trade must join forces to protect our visitors. The Hotels must provide more stringent security measures to keep their clients more secure. And for an advanced preparation to preempt the possible extension of this trend of violence, our Taxi Cabs must also be fortified with crime deterrence fixtures like bullet-proof glass partition between the rear seating and the front. The Taxi Drivers also must be better monitored to protect them and their customers, too. Some kind of panic buttons may have to be installed in the Driver's side to call for help, in times of imminent danger of violent attacks.

I am relieved a bit that we are not hearing more of the murderous hijacking of Passenger Buses on our major Transportation arteries linking our Cities to the rural parts of the Country.

If Ghana is unbearable in terms o economic hardship as they say why murder someone because of POVERTY. sadly is hard to say if those CRIMINALS are Nigerians or Ghanaians.
