  It is interesting to come to this point but our local insurance firms must expand. Some should be listing by now. They keep small balance sheet size but want big deals and this doesn't make sense. Insurance is about risk and if they want to underwrite big deals then they must up their game by attracting more capital so these big oil players can have confidence in them. After all, they will be retaining 1% and still gpcede the rest to international reinsurers any way. The big question is, apart from the commissions, what else is the motivation? The NIC must compel them to also grow their balance sheet size then everyone is comfortable.

  NICE IDEA BUT UNLESS ITS A HUGE COMPANY THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO INSURE AN OIL WELL OR REFINERY..IF DISASTER STRIKES, JUST LIKE PLANE CRASH AND HUNDREDS OR THOUSANDS LIKE LIKE WHEN CHEMICAL PLANT IN INDIA EXPLODED 20 YEA ...
