These thieves will either be set free or be given some weird sentences whiles people committing trivial offenses will be dealt with mercilessly. Judges with integrity and right sense of judgement have been lost in Ghana.

It is the same story with the police and army. All the security personnel involved in armed robbey. All such people were recruited in `Kufuor's time when he pushed all the NPP foot soldiers in the army and police.

“That’s a good start I suppose. Those of you who believe in ghosts, how many have actually seen a ghost?” About 30 students raise their hands.

“That’s good. I’m really glad you’re taking this seriously. Ok, has anyone here ever talked to a ghost?” About a dozen students raise their hands.

“That’s a great response. Has anyone ever touched a ghost?” Two students raise their hands. “That’s fantastic. But let me ask you one last question… have any of you ever made love to a ghost?”

A gov't that prioritizes looting and thievery and actually creates the vehicle through all sorts of instruments, judgment debts and whatnots and shares the booty with impunity and defends such kleptocracy, does not deserve a single second in gov't. We were all in this country when John Mahama was defending the Woyome loot. We were all in this country when Okudzeto Ablakwa was cajoling and coercing Citizen vigilante-Martin Amidu to approve the Isofoton thievery, which he righteously resisted. When he woke up, he was out of gov't and the looting and thievery assumed another life and urgency of it's own. Ghana is currently crawling, groveling and whining in front of the IMF for a bailout under the sheer colossal weight of the thievery and looting.
Clearly, the Mahama NDC gov't is not the right fit for our governance and our socio-economic development and need to be massively booted out of office at the ballot box in 2016.

The social ills bedeviling Ghana is outstanding! The awareness of corruption and its impact on national development is known to every citizen including school children! But why we as a nation look on helplessly while mother Ghana is being rapped day and night is mind-boggling!

Why is leadership in the land so petrified into inaction is a mystery to me! In times like this the gem of leadership shines through; it takes just one mind at the helm of affairs to catalyze a series of corrective measures to heal the socio-economic wound. I thought we have a leader in a president. Our President must act and fast as that and shelve the assurances and criticisms of his political opponents and act! I thought we have a team of men and women of accomplishment in their own right to help, advise and complement the effort of tthe president to find the "magic wand" to do the work. But lo, so sad to see situation getting worse by the day. Yesterday GYEDAA, WOYOMEGATE, today National Service Scheme disgraceful stealing tomorrow what is anybody's guess.

Are we as a nation becoming addicted to stealing from state coffers? Have we lost our sensitivity to the dire consequence of corruption? Else what could be the cause of our inaction to stem the tide but look on literally helplessly the looting in an exponential proportions? Maybe international donors should rethink their conditions to make us sit up!

This great nation is collapsing slowly but steadily. Seriously, the President must sit up and stand up and be counted among the elite who change the course of destiny of nations! Admittedly he can't bear the weight alone but he is the leader so he must LEAD. Moaning, whining, criticizing those criticizing him and complaining about the situation won't solve any problem. Not even promises or assurances of better things to come without action can save the situation. Failing to do so is an admission of failure as a leader and the nation must start looking for a new one elsewhere come 2016.
