  The economy is hitting workers hard and many are finding it hard to balance the family budget.

  These kind of stealing is what angered the military AFRC to clean the system.
  
  I would not be surprised should someone call for it again as lessons have not been learnt.

  The ground is over-ripe for another house-cleaning exercise. Look at GYEEDA,SADA,NHIA,NSS,NLA etc. NLA is WORST. The frustrated patrons of the products of NLA are calling for transparency of the draws. They should be shown on the national television stations. The cost of this will be far lower than what NLA is losing now as a result of the low patronage. Millions of patrons have backed out. NLA Board, open your eyes and act fast.

  When you put a dog on a leash for a while and finally let go, it gets overwhelmed with its new freedom and ecstatically jumps around and dances and runs all over the place in merriment, which possibly could be chaotic and destructive. Such is what some Ghanaians have demonstrated in their clamor to grab, loot and share with impunity, since the abandonment of the Coup mentality among our Military.
  
  We seem to believe the harshest punishment could never be applied to us again for whatever level of Corruption we indulge in.
  
  Conveniently, we have been using the indisputable excesses of the AFRC era as a shield to parry any calls for tough legal pursuits of Corrupt Officials. Meanwhile, ironically, many hold the view that the current resurgence of Corruption renders the emergence of the AFRC and its entire work unnecessary and useless.
  
  However, I disagree with that position to a large extent. While we could have been spared the extreme brutalities and fatalities inflicted upon the Masses, honestly, people responded to the harsh methodologies of the AFRC and promptly abandoned their nefarious anti-social behaviors and Corruption took a quick hike.
  
  We now know that the social canker only went hiding for a while to await a more convenient time to resurface with a vengeance. The people simply did not learn from all the horrible brutal experiences of the AFRC era. The Cat was gone, so the mice have had the freedom to destructively misbehave again.
  
  We keep vehemently rejecting whatever the AFRC did as anything of success, and think it was unnecessary. We have characterized that era as the worst in our Political History. We have attested to its brutalities as the most inhumane and the apex of our leadership's breach of Human rights in our Modern times. J. J. Rawlings has been consequently vilified by many of us as the most evil Head of State Ghana has ever known. Hence, many of his enemies still seek for his head in revenge.
  
  While not denying our undeservability of the excessive brutalities and even fatalities the AFRC era is characterized with, we have, by our current unbridled monumentous Corruption, been gradually eroding our moral right to condemn the general harsh methodology to curb Corruption and return the Nation to order.
  
  The most important lesson we need to extract from all this is that we cannot claim attempting to stop a crime is not worth the effort because criminals dare to repeat the crime. Surely, the crooks and criminal-minded would always explore new ways to commit their acts, taking advantage of loopholes in our Legal System, etc. However, that must not cause us to back off from fighting them to instil sanity in our Nation.
  
  We may have to redouble whatever methods we know worked in the past without necessarily taking lives or denying the due process. Other Countries have done it. And there is not reason we cannot do it, too. We can curb the Corruption. It is all a matter of will and determination of the few good Men and Women who do not want to endure such crimes anymore.
  
  Our Children may not know any better and continue the evil ways some of us have found to enrich themselves overnight at the expense of the Majority, if we do not loudly and energetically demand for redress to the rampaging Corruption.
  
  Now, many have begun wishing for the swift, summary conviction without trial and its attendant brutal penalties of the AFRC era, since they believe it is the only way Ghanaians seem to learn to abstain from Corruption.
  
  While I personally prefer a vigorous, uncompromising Law Enforcement and democratic Legal pursuits of culprits and stringent penalties for those found guilty, I can understand why others yearn for the AFRC days now.
  
  If our Officials do not immediately stop their blatant pervasive Corruption, they would have no moral right left to hope for the absence of horrific, brutal intervention by whatever Authority might emerge on the scene.
  
  Like I have said elsewhere, enough is enough! Our Parliamentarians and the Executive must either promptly rise to directly confront the Corruption rife among us, or risk being hauled out of our Halls of Governance by any means necessary.
  
  As more and more rot is uncovered, from one Agency to another, there seems to be no end to the spread of the canker. And it seems no Agency is spared for the loot Officials are engaged in.
  
  It is morally reprehensible, politically destabilizing, and justifiably calls for merciless maximum cleansing of our Officialdom. Anything less is tantamount to an unforgivable deliberate neglect of the Nation's crucial existential need. And any possible resultant upheaval in response should be fully blamed on the current clique of our ruling elite and Politicians.

I was the (C)Thief Accountant at the NSS from 2006 to 2010, whereupon I was forced to resign because I stood up for my share of the returns of the ghost names money. The farm project was only a ploy to steal money and we did make money proper. Yes within the short period that I was transferred from Bolga, I made billions from the NSS: I have a mansion in Adenta, a four square compound house at madina, an estate in Takoradi, 2 houses in Bolga. I had no problems resigning in 2010 because I had already set up a micro finance company in Bolgatanga. We stole the money through insertion of ghost names, use of the borehole drilling machine at the NSS plus other lucrative schemes. Now I drive around in a powerful V8. Hahaha catch me and Kuagbenu if you can!But just dissolve the Board to save some us from going to prison... pls i beg.
