We need strong institutions, we need energy to power our private industries, we need to improve on technology and support startups, we need a change in our banking sector, we need to improve our transportation system; serious decentralization policies, increased mechanisms for revenue collection, change in our educational systems with a more focus on IT and employable skills development etc. I can't tell you all and not this stupid you will get your peanut salaries on time. We all know Nana won the last election but was robbed by a crafty incumbent and an EC boss who does not know what over-voting is. You want to become popular ? Help Nana Addo and the NPP to find ways of overcoming the NDC rigging machine. You don't just remain passive and blame Nana for losing when you know very well that his mandate was stollen. If you continue behaving like that you can count on only your imaginary 300,000 floating voters and not the 4 million to 6million core NPP voters. We need team players, not individuals who see themselves as God's gift to the Party. By the way, Afoko also promised to distribute pickup trucks to constituency executives and other Party functionaries if elected Chairman of the Party. If you listen to the campaign declarations of these presidential aspirants, you wonder what will become of promises to support whoever wins the flag-bearership. Alan is claiming if delegates give the nod to Nana Akuffo Addo, the party will never win 2016. One wonders whether Alan will keep his promise to support Nana after October 18. He, alan himself, knows that there is no way Nana Addo will not win 50% + 1 of delegates' votes on October 18th. For that matter, if Alan is coming out so late in the campaign to warn Ghanaians not to vote for Alan, is that not too mischievous and unpatriotic?
I am trying to pick out any such declarations Nana has given about Alan throughout the campaign. It is about time we all told Alan what we think of him. All hi pronouncements play into the opposition's favour. It makes oone wonder whether Alan is truly an NPP member, or whether he is in fact working for the benefit of the NDC. Those speculations about the NDC funding Alan and his team seem to be borne out by Alan and his team! Get rid of Alan once and for ever!
