As for me this factor alone disqualifies him, i wont ever vote for him and I am sure majority Ghanaians wont also vote for him based on their own factors including incompetence and too many greedy cousins and family members as advisors/ kitchen cabinet/ ministers in waiting wanting to come and loot!!! Can you imagine, this Nana Addo only as flagbearer goes around in 100-car convoy with his security beating up people at golden tulip in Kumasi, traveling to see presidents of other countries in west africa to make himself look like the president of Ghana, sending congratulatory message to newly elected president of India, telling NPP people in London to put pressure on the British not to give Ghana aid, etc etc. No one even knows the law school he attended????????

His own friend Kofi Koomson said Akuffo Addo is a failure and we saw that when Tsatsu floored him in the courts where Akuffo Addo who is acclaimed to be a first class lawyer titled a charge sheet as the President V Tsikata instead of the State V Tsikata. He also failed portooor as a foreign minister when fellow Ghanaians were massacred in the Gambia, the lost of diplomatic passports, etc. Please, point out to me a significant achievement of your idol as MP for his Abuakwa South contsituency for 12 years; and don't mention demonstrations or beating up his opponents like Owuraku Amofa.

My politician friends in the US have been watching this drama and shaking their heads - why can't this guy give it up graciously like McCain did here? Most of the guys edging Nana on have no spine nor any social credit to impress the general population of eligible voters. These low life thugs and cronies fund Nana to be a "pushover" and quite easy to manipulate hence a fertile ground for cash out if he wins power(he will not). The perfect match and in fact, a keen and stronger contestant to JDM would be Alan. NPP seem to have all these kokonte lawyers who can't use their heads to strategize. Most of us are willing and ready to come to Ghana to support Alan with our corporate funds so that NPP can WIN power from these novices. Some are parochially saying because Prof Atta Mills attempted three times before winning, Nana can also win at the third attempt. Check this analysis: The personality of Prof Mills is far different from that of Nana.Prof Atta Mills was humble and violence-free earning the accolade "Asomdwe Hene", while Nana has a lot of baggage hanging around his neck - drug allegations, violence-prone (All-die-be-die) allegations of being arrogant. Do you remember that immediately after winning the NPP primaries in 2007, Nana enplaned to visit the presidents of Togo, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and Cote d'Ivoire? In what capacity did he go? The other point is that, Prof Mills could only win the third time because the sitting president, Kufour was out of office. Remember Kufour could not win against the sitting president Rawlings until Rawlings left the scene, and Prof Mills could not win against Kufour until Kufour left the scene. How then can Nana win against a sitting president who has already beaten him, as all the other sitting presidents did to their contenders? So if any fickle-minded person is arguing on the line of Prof Mills's history of attempting thrice, they should also consider the history of no sitting president has ever lost an election.If anybody is counting the antecedence of Mills going three times before winning. they should also consider the same antecedence of no contender has ever beaten a sitting president in Ghana.

NPP should not take such baseless campaign to the voters, because such unsubstantiated accusations will never win any votes. But coming at this time of the elections process, such statements only give the opponents ammunition to use during the real thing: "NPP card holders themselves told us that Nana Addo is incompetent". And if the NPP said their own candidate is not competent, then there is no need to ask why but accept it as such.
I would suggest that any NPP member who goes about making such unsubstantiated comments about any flag-bearer aspirant should be ostracized from the party after the primaries. It is all too evident that someone who claims now that Nana Akuffo Addo is not competent to rule the country will never vote for nana Akuffo Addo at any elections - inter or intra party!

There is a place where you can be sure that you would find a representative (MP) from every part of Ghana year round gathered together to deliberate on the future and the current state of this country. Where is that? Parliament house of course. If there is such a place then how should the place and the people there be treated in the scheme of things? What priority should such a house be given in the governance of the country? If there is such a place then what kind of people should we send there and how should we assess their performance?

Parliament must also provide a readily available renovated residence in Sakumono to a newly elected parliamentarian. Accommodation in Accra/Tema is expensive and not every MP-elect may have the money to rent a house as he or she may have exhausted his or her funds running for office.

His method of campaigh and that of his so called supporters is obnixious and very unbecoming of the Alan I knew as an ambassador and Trade and Industry minister. Why can't he tell the NPP electorate anout the programs of Alan, but bent of insulting Nana Akuffo Addo.Is it a sign of frustration, judging by the defection of his supporters to Nana's camp. In any case who says Alan is prettier and more presentable than Nana. Who has not noticed the multi coloured face (skin cancer?)and ugly hair style of Alan? We want someone who is tried and tested and who in the face of the absurd insults from Alan's camp is still tooting on the good programs he has for our dear country. Let Alan tell us what he has for this country and stop the ugly insults on the personality of Nana. The path he is charting with his campaign will make Alan a nonentity in the NPP, and indeed Ghanaian politics, after the impending humiliating defeat that is starring him in the face, come Oct 18.

Over the years, records show that a political party which maintained the flagship who has contested presidential elections on 2nd,or 3rd, or the 4th time was crowned with success at the end.
Therefore,with the economic and financial hardships across the country, Akufo-Addo clearly standout to win the 2016 elections.Unless the NPP allows the NDC and their Afari Gyan once again to rig the elections in 2016.
So,why is Kyeremanten trying to distract the chances of Akufo -Addo.
Alan should know that he can't get more than 41 -59 votes in a national presidential election.
Team Akufo should ignore Kyeremanten to concentrate and confront the Parliament(legislation) to seal the loopholes in the Constitution which does not put the Electoral Commissioner on hold to declare a winner,if the other party raised a concern.And the ban on FM Radio Stations to announce the result on the spot.These 2 things I have mentioned are the tools that helped NDC to power The last but not the least, may be Cyber techniques/technology to changed the figures.
As for these so called Cape Coast grassroots,they could only be described as hungry people whom are selling their Conscious(excuse my words).Anyway.

Why do few people in support of mr Allan Kyeremateng bend on destroying Nana Akuffo Addo for their parochial interest ostensibly to win the flagbearership for the NPP.This shows how Ghana has deminished from the state of respect for elders in our society and still depreciating into moral decadence in our political system.It is rather sad to describe poilitics as a dirty game as many poilitical leaders are mudslinged, call them names,and worship them when they finally ascend to power by the same people who had hitherto endeavoured to destroy them.Nana is the most marketed, peaceful and popular person vying for this posision and we, as menbers of NPP family must be very careful we donnot destroy him before the main contender in the upcoming general elections in 2016.
