  Do teachers get clothing and fuel allowances? If they are not paid or underpaid and they go on strike, people blame NPP and Addo. Pay people their due and there shall be no strike.

  It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution

  Why would the Mahama NDC administration negotiate with the striking lawyers for what exactly? One just does not get this NDC gov't. These are part of their emoluments which lawyers in the other 8 regions of Ghana, with the exception of Ashanti and Brong Ahafo region have been receiving, at least according to the report.
  So why single out those particular two regions and withhold allowances lawyers in the other 8 regions have been receiving for the past 2 years and even talk of any negotiations? What is the negotiations exactly for and why not involve all the 10 regions in the country? One just does not understand what this Mahama NDC gov't is about? Governance has really gone awry in this country and it's really affecting output. The Mahama NDC gov't should please address these issues about their allowances instead of crippling the legislative branch of gov't and creating room for the emergence of a full fledged state of constitutional dictatorship in the country.
