Nowadays, student leaders are just as corrupt as the politicians leaders and being used as pawns by crooks like Duncan-Williams.

No wonder the country is in a mess.

The press is being manipulated by politicians and now a SRC is out openly singing the praises of a hoodlum who uses the pulpit to hoodwink and swindle his gullible congregation!!

How can this self proclaimed pastor who live lavishly with his so called prosperity messages be compared to the humble, simple and poor oriented Paul. It is a shame.

Any chance people get they say lets pray and God will take care of it. Of course that is what the Bible says. Leave everything in the hands of God. So students will pray and believe they will pass because they have faith in their prayers. Anyone that does not join the chorus is an 'Anti-Christ".

Players circle and pray fervently before the game and of course they win because with God you can't lose (or?). Instead of hard training sessions and tactics and plans and strategies and dribbling and teamwork ...no God is the author of our success, with him, you can't lose.

Go to any gathering and try to raise a contrary opinion about the futility of prayer in instances like soccer and studying and all hands will be pointed at you. People will quote passages to educate you about your lost ways, and before long you will be converted else you will lose even your friends for your apostasy.

The universities are just a microcosm of Ghana society, and the most influential and most powerful are the "men of God". They are at every high table, dispensing of their advice and sermons at the least opportunity. And it is always 'Prayer can do EVERYTHING" including giving you "A"s if your faith is strong enough. And of course you can win the world cup with prayers because is there anything God can't do? He created the universe and that sure was harder than making a measly mortal win a freaking game.

People, our people are now under the thumb of the greatest tyranny ever, "CHURCH". Don't blame the schools. In fact if a student politician does not intersperse his speeches with "God this or God that" he has no prayer of sniffing the office.

And as we have become so insanely "religionized" corruption is wreaking havoc. Could they be related?

My brother don't blame the SRC. It is a much bigger problem
