  I do not know whether the writer believes all that she was tol as to how the CID works. My experience of the CID in Ghana is terrible---they are a bunch of money chrunchers an bribe takers. The bottom line with them is their at the "service" of the highest bidder. Plainly said, money talks and the Ghana CID will walk, or keep a case open. In general no money no case kept open; I can mention names, big names too, that have left a bitter taste in my mouth, where the CI is concerned!

  And you are right,in that some of these 'investigators' can make a case 'go away' for the right price;by simply compromising vital or key evidence! ...

  And you are right,in that some of these 'investigators' can make a case 'go away' for the right price;by simply compromising vital or key evidence! Not observing standard protocols required in certain crime cases like rape or murder is a sure way of killing such cases. These investigators know this, and would deliberately 'wilt' under a 'skillful' cross-examination by defense Attorneys,who are in on the scam to get the accused off on all the charges preferred against them.
