With mass unemployment hitting Ghanaians very hard in the gut as a result of the NDC gov't's incompetence and looting, the "established norm" is still to retain the incumbent President.
With dumsor, dumsor further taking a nosedive into the very abyss, the "established norm" is that, we should retain the incumbent President.
With the absence of 50SHS's in 2013 and 2014, the "established norm" is to retain the incumbent gov't.
With the Mahama and Gen. Mosquito NDC gov't building a party HQ's costing over an alleged staggering amount of $20million dollars, which Gen. Mosquito has declined to name the source of funding and the cost, whilst roads to Kete Krachi, Wulensi and the other districts, which produce the bulk of yam in the country, are in disrepair and unmotorable, taking anywhere between 12 to 30hours to travel from those districts to Accra, the "established norm" according to the Mahama/Amissah Arthur/Gen. Mosquito NDC gov't, is to retain the NDC gov't.
I could go on and on about the Mahama NDC gov't's gross failure and incompetence and glorified looting and thievery, which by their "imaginary established convention", should still lead to the retention of an incumbent President.
Well, the ball is in the court of Ghanaians who are feeling the very brunt of the hardships imposed by this Mahama NDC gov't as a result of looting, incompetence and the lack of vision, and it's time that convention is put to the test, because the country cannot be falling apart for the Mahama NDC gov't and for Gen. Mosquito to be talking about incumbency advantage.
To quote what Haruna Iddrisu, the MP for Tamala South said with respect to dumsor, dumsor in parliament, he said and I quote portions of the statement;
"......In 1998 and 2000, they campaigned on adumdum adumdum b3 gya3, you remember, they did...hehehehe...hehehehe...they did...hehehehe.
Hon Member, Hon Member for Tamale South, you may repeat what you said, I didn't hear you....hehehehe.
Mr. Speaker, Mr. Speaker between 1998 and 2000, a major and a very attractive campaign slogan by them in opposition was adumdum adumdum b3 gya3....hehehehe.
It was just to remind the gov't of the NPP that, my understanding of positive change is to keep your honour, that you promise the people of Ghana that if you got power, adumadum adumdum b3 gya3, the contrary has happened, so which in my view means that this was avoidable it's not just for this gov't. Mr. Speaker even a future NDC gov't which I'm very optimistic about in 2009, Mr. Speaker should have no excuse, should have no excuse in plunging this country into any darkness, because the opportunity exists whether hydro or thermal to assure the people of Ghana adequacy in the supply of electricity"..... end of quote.
Well, this is just to remind the gov't of the NDC that, my understanding of "BETTER GHANA AGENDA" is to keep your honour, that if your promise the people of Ghana that if your got power, you would build 50SHS's every year, dumsor dumsor will be a thing of the past,... (and every Ghanaian can add the rest), the contrary has happened.....
The NPP was not in gov't in 2009.

It is therefore a huge insult to the intelligence of the masses, when Gen. Mosquito tells Ghanaians that, it is the "convention" and the established norm, to retain an incumbent gov't, a very huge insult.
Let Ghanaians sound a very loud and resounding note to the Mahama/Amissah Arthur NDC gov't that, they have had enough of the insults, whilst they plunge the country into the doldrums and loot and thieve their way into opulence and prosperity. Ghana deserves the best. Let Ghanaians massively, massively send the Mahama/Amissah Arthur NDC gov't packing and out of office, in 2016 at the ballot box.

Was Nana Addo Dankwa not at the peace council when memorandum of understanding was signed by all parties? Why did he over rule the very memorandum he personally appended his signature to, by organising masses at “obra spot” to protest against an election when he and his cohorts have not done any diligence as to whether there was real evidence of electoral fraud before going to the court? They were not able to bring a shred of evidence that can amount to an unprecedented value of electoral malpractices other than relying on the periphery of some minor human errors to make a case.

Why has Nana Addo scared all investors away as if something is going to happen in our dear country when all indicators were good for our economic growth? Which investor will go ahead to invest in a country where they perceived there will be war or turbulent in that country they are considering entering? Which investor in right sense of mind will in invest Afghanistan, Sierra or Iraq?

We are where we are now because of the ill behaviour of Nana Addo and his friends who have pledged “all die be die” and will careless about anything good for the people of the country until he is made president. We have enjoyed tremendous peace and freedom, steady economic growth, unprecedented single inflation digit for a very long period until Nana Addo lost an election, then markets started burning, workers people have been agitated to strike not because they have not been paid but because of austerity measures which has hit every country every where.

It's as is Ghanaians are a bunch of fools who can't choose between good and bad; right or wrong!

Ghana has a AFRC/P-NDC gov't who came into power accusing everyone of corruption and had some citizens executed, killed our noble judges and chiefs and innocent people---Rawlings recently admitted that: "we had to kill innocent people" for reasons best known to themselves alone!

If Asiedu Nketia still believe they can fool Ghanaians by pulling a fast one on them by cheating in the next elections, then he better think twice! Because there will be a revolt in the country unlike anything he'd seen in his life. He'll drop dead until he believes this. Looks like they're planning to use the army and the nation's security forces in their plot to stay in power.

Ghanaians are not fools; they've seen it all, how John Mahama flouted all the electoral rules in Ghana, when he seized GBC (addressing Ghanaians) although the EC's laws calls for total neutrality by incumbent during election time, to the point Atuguba's nephew as personal secretary at the Presidency, and the Justice system to secure his stay in power as president. Let nobody be deceived that the will of the people and their power cannot be subdued forever!

Elections are meant to be free and fair in any true democracy. Being elected to power is performance-based and selling good message or party's manifesto to the electorate, in any elections. Asiedu Nketia cannot fool himself and his party by making such loose statements.

Nana Akufo-Addo is the people's choice; the country's multitude of electorate are yearning for him to lead the nation. The overwhelming victory he recorded at NPP's just-ended congress isn't a joke. It's a direct reflection of the message the ordinary Ghanaian is asking for. The NDC shouldn't take Ghanaians for fools.

If Asiedu Nketia loves Ghana, and not just filling his pocket to the detriment of Ghanaians, he should seriously consider campaining for NPP.
One more term for NDC and ghana woll go bankrupt.
