I wonder how some journalists and media people can't stop plotting evil all the time? Is this NDC's strategy to try to destroy Nana Akufo-Addo ahead of the 2016 elections? This is the difference between NPP Newspapers and some Newspapers. The former would not descend so low to write such trash. NPP people play decent politics. They do not do this to their opponents just for the sake of winning power, which after all is even to be used for the benefit of the ordinary citizens and not for greedy people. Thanks to God, a lot of people are discerning and would not buy into such trash.

If you don't know, the truth remains that Alan, after his defeat, personally went to see Akufo Addo in his Accra residence, he commended him for a good job done. He went ahead to pledge his unflinching support for him; something he never did in the past, and the determining factor for his unpopularity in the eyes of the delegates. Of course, it must be noted that if Alan fails to lend his support for Akufo Addo this time round, then he'd better forget about ever leading the NPP and becoming president. Shortly after the results were announced, we heard that asshole of a lawyer, Amaliba, preempting that, Alan won't ever campaign for Akufo Addo. He was on TV talking as if it was Alan himself who had sent him to say what he said. Nana's emphatic win has sent shivers down the spines of the NDC. His overwhelming victory and endorsement now spells doom for this useless, incompetent, clueless, corrupt, sleeping Mahama-led NDC govt.

I analyse what goes on in the NEW against the background of everything in Ghana's political history. If Jerry John Rawlings can be president of Ghana with all his psychological short comings then Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo can also be president with all the litany of grievances cited by this article. Being president of any country requires pugnacity and is not for the faint hearted. So what if Akuffo Addo is "arrogant". Other people I know in Ghana are just as arrogant. Some even more so. The key is whether or not Akuffo Addo and his people learn to include elements of his party in his government once he gets the top job. Alan Kyerematen seems a nice enough guy but I am sure his supporters can engage in skulduggery with the best of them. Funny how things are always taken out if context. The "All die be die" comment is one such example. Those of you who have memories will remember that the political opposition was threatening mayhem. We even saw some of them photographed with machetes and worse.
