This is what needs to happened in ghana for things to change.
Consult Martin Skankar of Norway, a fund manager.
A percentage of all revenues from oil, gold, cocoa etc MUST be deposited into a ghana sovereign fund and invested all over the world by the best investment brains. This money will not be touched by any government, ever! Infact, the revenues accrued from this investment will be used to fund pension, healthcare, education, infrastructural projects, roads etc in Ghana.
DON'T Invest in: What companies produce and how they are produced e.g don't invest in nuclear/chemical weapons, tobacco, companies like walmart(humanitarian clauses)
Norway has pretty much built their economy from the oil they have. Their sovereign fund is the largest national 401k in the world!

thats the only reason behind these loans from imf. the Ghana govt artificially create the monetary and economic conditions in Ghana that we need the loans. The Ghanaian electorate gave NDC and Mahama 4 years mandate. When that time is up they will have the opportunity to decide if they will give them another 4 years or bring in another party.

From the look of things NDC will once again carry at least 8 regions versus a paltry 2 for NPP, and get another 4 years. Npp could not even win the parliamentary, yet here you are talking bullshit.

The survey is bullshit. Their methodology does not meet scientific muster. Anybody can go and ask anyone any questions and get the responses they want. Have you seen the American politics before? Endless opinion polls and yet Obama won easily. If you want a true and accurate polls you have to open it up to a broad number of participants.

And even if an opinion poll suggests people are dissatisfied with the government it does not imply they will vote for the other party in a general election. In America Democrats are angry with Obama for not ending the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Does that mean they will vote for the republicans who have said they will escalate the wars?

Go and learn logic before spewing bullshit on the web. Bush people.

John Mahama and the hopeless NDC government are at their wits end.The economy is stagnated.It baffles me that the huge loans spent have not been able to stimulate consumption and created jobs.It is not surprising that the government has resorted to lies and deception to simplify the economic problems facing us.
We are in deep trouble:the price of crude oil is below $100/barrel,gold is dancing below $1300/ounce,way below the near $2000/ounce a few years back.
Our industries have been hamstrung by cheap imports(mostly Chinese) and high cost of production from new taxes and utility overheads to add to production so as to reduce the demand pressure and bring down the 16.5% CPI.The 19% Bank of Ghana lending rate has aggravated the problem by steering away commercial banks lending from the private sector to the public sector.Our debts have been increased without a corresponding reciprocal expansion in infrastructure.The knee-high potholes are still claiming innocent lives and the rains have rendered feeder roads unusable.Our foreign exchange reserves are seriously depleted.Gold production is not forthcoming, as a result of the reduced world price.Unemployment is barking at the youth on a daily basis.
Household incomes have been squeezed by annoying and persistent increases in utility and refined petroleum products.And then the adding-insult-to -injury dumsor,dumsor.
In fact,the poor in Ghana are really magicians.
How are they able to survive from day to day?
Give John Mahama and the hopeless NDC a boot out in 2016.
Vote Nana Addo and the NPP for a prosperous Ghana.
