  Mr. Kwesi Pratt, could you remember that Rawlings used the TUC and its workers as a launching pad to overthrow the government of Liman fraudulently? Could you also remember that he used to take 'Kenkey' to Legon to demonstrate how the size had shrunk under Liman, and we ended up with the "Rawlings Chain" under the PNDC? And could you also remember that Nkrumah used to incite workers to strike against the Whiteman and later on outlawed strikes and said they were unpatriotic in his regime when the economic situation was genuinely difficult for workers?
  
  I don't believe NPP is behind the present strikes. But if they do, they are surely not doing so to overthrow any regime unlawfully. They may be highlighting the failings and excesses of the NDC government, hopping that it would translate into votes for the party in the next elections. And that is in fact, a genuine politics. Everybody in Ghana knows that cost of living under the NDC government is unbearable, and NPP could be seizing the opportunity to convince Ghanaians including the workers not to vote for NDC the next elections. Frankly, I don't see anything wrong with highlighting the failings of a sitting government by an opposition to wrestle power democratically from an incapable government.

  No amount of good analyses and pleas will change the policies of the NDC kleptocracy. CPP must take its analyses of the current situation and its alternative solutions directly to the people, all over Ghana. Ghanaweb is not enough or even the best medium to reach the masses. Mahama is in unreal world where he sees himself as entitled to continued rule ("I have my eyes beyond 2016"!)and access to the national kitty to loot as he desires. He'll make any deal with the IMF & World Bank so he gets his hands on the prize money as it comes in.
  
  CPP must save Ghana. We must strageize to win power in 2016.

  Simply put, the NPP must also come out with a well thought out strategy to confront and expose the NDC under John Dramani Mahama's "Destroy Ghana Agenda!" It's about time. Thanks, CPP. You tell the truth!!
