Countries train their doctors differently and award different degrees. It is high time we started conferring Doctor of Medicine degrees to MBChB students who have performed the necessary research projects as some countries do.

The current practice where newly inducted doctors called house officers with no experience whatsoever are left to experiment with (attend to) serious medical cases while residents, specialists and consultants are away must be put to a stop immediately. There must be at least one specialist present 24 hours in three shift rotations to supervise them. Our health system as it is presently is not the best. The situation in the countryside and rural communities is even worse.

Do not doubt the wisdom in these words.

After Mills found Betty Moulds guilty of judgement debt payments the only thing he could do was to move her to the Education dept to continue her looting. Readers would recall that Betty Mounds was the one who awarded SCHOOL building contracts at a triple price of the existing contract sum of some GH 80,000.00. And this happened at a time when they claim inflation was in the single digits. Could you imargin how foolish these criminal liars were. Kuffour built similar structures with 80,000 at a time when inflation was around 14.8% and under Mills it was 240,000 at a rate of 8.8%. And these buffoons turn around to blame the fall of the cedi on some mysterious dwarfs. I don't blame those African countries that have been ripped apart by civil unrest because if you have such buffoons in power who always turn our local elections into a West Africa one
by contracting Togolese Trokosis, Burkinabe and Wangaras from La Cote D'ivoire to vote for them, the " Road To Kigare", is sometimes, a likely option to kick their ass from power.

Could you also remember that he used to take 'Kenkey' to Legon to demonstrate how the size had shrunk under Liman, and we ended up with "Rawlings Chain" in the PNDC regime but nobody could talk? And could you also remember that Nkrumah used to incite workers to strike against the Whiteman and later on outlawed strikes and said they were unpatriotic in his regime when the economic situation was genuinely difficult for workers?

I don't believe NPP is behind the strikes. But if the allegations are true, then they are surely not doing so to overthrow any regime unlawfully. They may be highlighting the failings and excesses of the NDC government, hopping that it would translate into votes for the party in the next elections. And that is in fact, a genuine politics. Everybody in Ghana knows that cost of living under the NDC's government is unbearable, and NPP could be seizing the opportunity to convince Ghanaians including the workers not to vote for NDC in the next elections. Frankly, I don't see anything wrong with highlighting the failings of an incapable government in order to wrestle power from them democratically.

Remember our patriotic anthem, by Dr Ephraim Amu, 'yen yara ya asase ni?'. The main theme is the attitude of the nation. As he said in this song 'the progress or advancement of the Nation would only depend on the attitude /behaviour of the citizens.

Is the corrupt politicians that are destroying the country not hardworking ordinary public workers whom are been cheated for what they have honestly worked for & the government ownes them on their allowances! We have some doctors, engineers and some civil servants who are supporters of either NPP or NDC. These people work against a government in power if it is not not the party that is in power. There must be coup now

The doom will start from Kumasi..if it 's truely starting..A place where people with bad heart for the nation..a place where if you are not with my way, you are on high way,if you don't agree with me, you're my enemy, and a place where self-centered mediocre politicians live aboundantly..a place where greediness has cripple the entire region..a place where leadership is lacking,mostly uncultured..hatred has become a social cancer of the society and leave a dirty and firlty arround all corners.a place where party division has shut down prosperity leaving future generation uncertain...no matter who comes to power, it will be what it is, and the same old story..sadly, leaders of this paralyzed state enjoying their luxury homes at east legon, Reggie emmauel,spintex and trans 'vco residence at Accra..leaving the voters on disarray these leaders taking advantage of these voters because they knew,mostly are ignorant and un- educated ...not until they change for better, the predicted doom will befall on them before the rest of the country..
