  Why should you give service extension to somebody going on retirement. Let the person go and rest., already he has forged his aged and by grace of Nature, he finally reach 60, why given him contract for what, Terminate all the contracts of OLD CARGOES IN HEAD OFFICE to keep lean staff at head office.
  Get better internal control personnel and seasoned financial managers to chart the destiny of the Audit service. not the ME BA HA AKYE LABOUR FORCE MBA.

  THIS NDC/MAHAMA GOVERNMENT HAS IT'S OWN PLANT TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE ALL STATE INSTITUTIONS WITH POWERS OF CONTROL AND CHECKS TO MAKE THEM IN EFFECTIVE SO THEY CAN PERPETRATE THEIR PLANNED "CREATE, LOOT & SHARE"!!!

  SOME OF THE INSTITUTIONS TARGETED ARE AUDITOR GENERAL OFFICE, CHIRAJ, INTERNAL AUDIT & OTHERS!!!!!
  
  TYPICAL EXAMPLE IS WHAT WE RECENTLY HEARD IN THE NEWS ABOUT RAS MUMBARAK & HIS CONFRONTATION WITH THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE FROM ACCOUNTANT GENERALS OFFICE- A TYPICAL CASE OF GETTING RID OF THE ONE WHO IS CONSIDERED AS AN IMPEDIMENT WHEN HE INSIST ON DOING THE RIGHT THING AS CONSIDERED IN CHECKS & BALANCES IN FINANCIAL CONTROL MANAGEMENT OF PUBLIC ACCOUNTS OF A GOVERMENT!!!!

  The Audit Service is one of the corrupt entities within government ministries. I worked at the Audit Service during the 70's at the PWD office at the old Tema lorry station. Since then staff at the Audit Service come highly recommend and selected based on loyalty to the service and a pledge to the Audit Service family against all others. Audit Service staff stationed at institutions with higher probability for corruption and corrupting influences trade their oversight responsibilities to the national government for daily money and other freebies they get from the entities they are supposed to audit. I challenge the administrators at the Audit Service to audit their own employees using just income against assets as testing tool. If I had the authority to make operational and funding changes in government I will surely start with the Audit Service that will have to earn their wages and salaries above and beyond earning every other cost of their existence. How could there be this much long and protracted corruption at every institution of state and or with private entities who short change government on their tax liabilities if the Audit Service was half awake or free of corruption? Every corruption exposed in Ghana must and should have come out of Audit controls but have not because the Audit Service is a gate keeper.for the corrupt while it prevents government from entry or prodding to smell the stench of corruption.
