There are many fields where Ghana lacks the needed expertise. To solve this problem the government of Ghana has over the decades made scholarships available for the needed human resource to be trained abroad. In some cases so many people were sent and not even one returned. If you know you are not prepared to work and live in Ghana and would therefore not return do not take the scholarships.

After bribing government officials to get their OMC licence with 80% foreign ownership VIVO is now busy bribing their customers too. This is not the kind of company we need in Ghana today. They are busy sacking all their long term employees after they assured government of job security for Shell staff. We should learn from Nigeria and keep the downstream sector for Ghanaians. Lots of good examples , Allied, GOIL etc

This is a rigged draw. When one sends an SMS, he us charged almost GHC 0.17. I had almost 52 cards. I'm a very loyal Shell customer but I guess I was unlucky but paying that much for every message is daylight robbery. How ca ... read full comment
