I agree with Justice Emile Short that the language used by GBA was inappropriate but at the same time, it is true that Afari Gyan's credibility was dented and the image of the Electoral Commission tarnished by what was revealed at the SC Presidential Petition hearing. If Afari Gyan could not define over-voting then why is he the Electoral Commissioner?

The GBA erred to have suggested the appointment of a new EC in advance when the existing one retires in 2015. That is against the constitution and it's sad that those who should be defending the constitution sought to undermine it. I hope they have learnt a lesson from this misguided and uncalled action.

I have said it before and I will say it again, the party called NDC and it's members have no idea what is the rule of law. And the explanation is very simple. This is a party that was formed by semi- educated empty head called J J Rawlings, who brutally and violently murdered his way to the top. So simply put, it is a party that was bourne out of violence and live in violence, besideds the mantra of corruption emeshed in the schematic fabric of " create,loot and share" Therefore don't be surprised by the violent attitude of this NDC brute. And to boot, listen to what they say; "our party (NDC) is in power" By this they mean they can do what ever they want, " including victimising other people and breaking the law. Yes, a commom trait of NDC, violence and brutality. And let me tell you this, had the NPP SC court machinations engineered by Atuguba gone against the NDC, Ghana would have been at war. A party formed by violence by a murderous dactator, the NDc always begets violence.
