We are under economic shakles all because of NDC incompetent and corrupt government. We had eight years of NPP government and times were certainly better for us than we have found ourselves in under the six years of GYEEDA,SUBAH,SADA,NSS and least of all Woyome stealling from us a whopping fifty one million.
The NDC and its head corruptible Mahama must give way to the NPP.
At least if I am poor but the sacrifice is giving all children in Ghana some free education then my sacrifice is worth it.
We have nothing to call home and tell mama about in the sad state of Ghana economy. Give us a break Mr.Mahama and your incompetent NDC.

Ghana had about 1bln dollars in reserve when Nkrumah took over the reins of government in this country. Could you imagine what the value of one billion dollars was in the early fifties? Again, after 2years of his rule, cocoa prices at the world market rocketed and increased four-fold. But contrary to any sound economic planning, he did not reserve any fraction of the windfall for a rainy day, as the Whiteman had done with only one fourth of the revenue he got from cocoa. So, apart from revenues from gold and other natural resources, what did Nkrumah do with at that huge money from the astronomical cocoa prices and the big reserve he inherited, which took many years to build for our financial stability and sustainable development?

He just went on a spending spree both in Ghana and around the world, throwing his weight about and talking big. So when the cocoa prices fell close to the end of his rule, he was quick to point accusing fingers at the West, blaming them for manipulating cocoa prices to sabotage the economy of Ghana and overthrow his government. Finally, after misusing all the money mainly on useless prestigious projects, failed communist agricultural projects and whimsical mad-rush industrialization projects that did not withstand the test of time, he also burdened the young nation with another billion dollars' debt before he was forced out of the country.

The truth is that, Kwame Nkrumah met a rich, confident country with a stable economy, and left it nearly bankrupt in few years as a result of gross mismanagement.

The 10% broker fee to the NDC and the 2% Woyome-like fee to Alex Moulds is all that matters to the GNPC, a situation which gave birth to the coining of that foolish and insulting 'edey bee Keke' Slogan by Mahama. Readers may recall that it was this same hubristic Mahama who endorsed reckless borrowing when he spat in the face of Ghanaians with his " it will be baloney not to collateralize our oil" effusions. The chop-chop has become soooo rampant that even the monkey face Ras Mubarack too want dey chop some.

Boy Kofi, the Deutsche Bank headquarters in Frankfurt-Germany has got a copy of The New Statesman's first publication news of 5 November 2014 whereby the so-called Asare “Gabby” Otchere-Darko of Global Dynamix Consult, a UK-based investment consultant claimed the involvement of the aforementioned Bank in this saga championing the front pages in the newsreels down south these few day and counting.

On that note, the bank is gearing up to set the record straight and as such a verification letter in the form of both e-mail and via post has been send to the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) for confirmation of the New Statesman's publication making rounds for the appropriate response from their quarters, hence the reason the GNPC is silent until date.

Ghana politicians are all the same but NPP is doing whatever necessary to tell us that they're the only one who can control Ghana's affairs. This sounds to me that NPP is desperately trying to stall the IMF loan so that the crisis won't be solved. If they think someone or some people has breached any constitutional act, take them to court for trial and stop all these bla bla because they're not the only opposition in the country so is about time they start using all this effort to help the country instead of making it ungovernable. NPP kicks against anything all because it's no coming from them. Whenever economy starts to stabilize, it goes wild to poison people's minds about the sitting government instead of coming out to tell us what it can do better, it comes out with negativity through it's garbage papers. Check from the Bank of Ghana since your hopeless administration started charging money from the banks, no money is coming to Ghana through the banks from the Diaspora.

Stop blaming the NPP for your mischievous deeds. If you do not want parliament to approve any loan, it will be your predicament and hunt you.

let take this example from Eastern Region ,where Eridec hotel a state owned property is wasting away and government is having all its meetings at Capital view Hotel.Is it a shared wickedness or ignorace on our part as black people.
lots of monies go waste in so many public places and nothing is being done.
we waste too much monies in our state institutions .I agreed to the fact that GHANA TELECOM was sold to Vodafone. vodafone is currently making huge sums of profit after their numerous operating expenses.
why cant Ghana Telecom do same when it was being managed by our own people.

- Lets demand more from MPs - no more driving top notch cars with tax payers money - how dare.

- Lets move Ghana

However, we all failed to understand him and chose to 'kowtow' to the agents and instruments of the West wich is still ENSLAVING OUR CONTINENT and the MINDS od our people.

NKRUMAH also warned us......"against dependence on capitalist global institutions such as the United Nation Organization (UN) and the Bretton Woods institutions such as the IMF and World Bank. Of the UN he reminded us that the UN is the tool of the elite states which control the Security Council and that it was / is "just as reliable an instrument for world order and peace as the Great Powers are prepared to allow it to be." Humans can at least think how best to generate funds from our God-given human and rich natural resources to raise funds for the necessary developments we require for our own HUMAN existence. But............

Today Ghana has problem with the teir 2 workers pension fund. We have GYEEDA to worry about. We Sada, SUBAH,NSS and now GNPC. Why is Mahama taking all of us as stupid fools?
No way Mahama must certainly be voted out of office. Ghana must never vote for him unless the NDC remove him and replace him with someone who has the interest of Ghana.
