The fact is no experienced and serious politican will follow such an incompetent Prez Mahama's NDC government. JJ and his wife are experienced politicians and Prez Mahama has performed so poorly that it doesn't make sense to follow him so what the NDP is doing is not strange. To say the truth it is only those greedy ones who think only of their stomach, and have had contracts, or got appointments or benefitting in oneway or the other that are following this administration and trying hard to defend this crass incompetence.

It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution

If JJ could allow his wife to form a party of her own as against his (NDC), who told you he cares about what they do with that party (NDP)? Truth be told, JJ himself agrees, so do JDM, that the economy is in challenges. However, that does not make JDM a monster to JJ. The last elections even proved that JDM is popular than the late JAM whom he JJ had nominated and made sure he became President. JJ himself describes JDM as too nice a gentleman to be a Ghanaian President. Not because he hates him. Truth be told, if even JDM is not as Charming and charismatic as JJ, he is also not too meek like late JAM. At least he combines a little bit of these two personalities. This makes him the better choice for NDC and Ghana as a whole. I agree NDP can be a problem for the NDC, NPP also have their own problems. Let's wait and see what happens in 2016. JJ is still for NDC and JDM.
