According to him, the current labour unions strike and the series of recorded cases of corruption, coupled with the various dubious contracts being awarded by government through parliament are similar cases that can trigger an uprising.

They have developed “yentie obia” attitude as they can always have their way through their dubious deals with a backing from the majority in Parliament to suppress the suffering masses.

Ghana is sitting Hon. Emmanuel Agyarko said some politicians in power have become obstinate to the extent that on a time-bomb with the numerous happenings in the country as the government has taken entrenched decision to ignore all the demands of the citizenry.

They feel they have the majority in Parliament to pass any bill that addresses their interest than Ghanaians..

“Ghanaians are watching how a Chinese bus which cost $70,000 is being sold to us at the cost of $270,000; they are watching how one particular company has been awarded all the construction contracts at Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Tamale Airport and Kasoa interchange and yet there is no transparency”, he warned.

The hard fact is that you are only there for your personal or party interest. l know some of you who got there and have shunned you bosom friends. l personally sent a congratulatory message to a colleague Legonite on his appointment as a deputy minister and he never responded and that was how our friendship ended. You are only there for personal interests l repeat.

It is the exaggerated arrogance and superiority complex. They act delusional in their Ivory Tower by looking down on the very constituents who elevated them.Parliament is the very prognosis of corruption and thievery!!

There times in history the public has encouraged military rule ..popupar coup d'état so mr mp mind your words...what we need to address this is proper governance to protect the individuals

If you use democratic means to suppress the will of the people they will one day revolt. Blaise Campaore only tried to use lawful means to perpetuate his suppressive rule but this time round luck eluded him. What we should know is that Blaise Campaore had the Army, Judiciary, Police, EC and Parliament of Burkina Faso to back him all along but today where is he. He is a pale shadow of himself. I know another Burkina will soon crop up in Ghana since Mahama's government is also fond of using democratic means to suppress Ghanaian. This happened when the NDC used the police to thwart efforts of the citizens to conduct lawful demonstration to vent their frustration and anger. A similar thing happened when the government secured an ex parte motion under the cover of darkness to stop workers strike even though it is glaring that workers of Ghana are being cheated. Up till now nobody knows the judge who issued the injunction against the workers strike. In all these, the judge who issued that bogus injunction and the NDC politicians who took the issue to court are all Article 71 beneficiaries who, unlike poor Ghanaian workers, draw their pension benefits and ex-gratia directly from the consolidated fund. You can now see the injustice that will soon precipitate another Burkina in Ghana. We are well prepared for another Burkina in Ghana if that would go a long way to destroy elitism in Ghana..

I assure all our Parliamentarians that if they don't stop that their partisan robber stamp decision taken; one day Military will take over. How can Woyome alone chop such money and he is walking around. Somebody stole a phone and he is in prison. Look at all the money the court said the Gov't should collect from the so called Judgment debt beneficiaries and still the Gov't is not making any effort but rather jumping from country to country looking for loan.
One day none of you will come out; all of you will go with the Parliament building.
Don't think we don't have men in Ghana, Men dey but we at times feel for the young ones. Instead of solving our problems NDC says it is NPP; NPP says it is NDC. Continue NPP- NDC, NPP-NDC; the day is coming soon if you don't stop the partisan way of doing things in Parliament. Think of us not your parties. Look at how some Parliamentarian have become rich just 6 years in Gov’t. How much do they give to a soldier when he is going on pension? Who is not serving the Nation? Who hasn’t got blood in him?
