    One suggestion that will help the police rid itself of political interference is to remove the power to promote senior officers from the control of politicians.

    In this regard, parliament should enact a law to this effect.

    ....when he said this during his trip to Ghana a few years back. Ghanaians have since debunked this idea and advocated for the "strongman" idea instead. The corrupt "strongman" concept will surely sink this nation.
