I have heard this Kumchacha man rant on public radio - cursing this man from Obuasi and even saying something like " if I go to Nkoranza,I will bring them drinks, they will call your name and you will appear in a mirror ...."
I immediately said to myself, what is the Communications Commission doing about this so-called Pastor; and the Christian Council of Ghana? Nobody was bold enough to reprimand or say anything to this guy and as such, he keeps doing his own thing.
If President Rawlings is bold enough to bring this to those in authority who should have spoken and acted against such act and wouldn't do it, he is not being a judge but bringing to fore, the gospel facts. Let us accept it countrymen.
Democracy doesn't mean you can come on line/on radio and insult and curse people.
This is where we need a fast track court for who in a matter of minutes will rule and put people in jail for their uncalled for rants. This should be for all people.
And please, don't use the name of the Lord in vain.

Much as I agree in part with what Mr Rawlings is saying about these so-called men of God it's more important for us to uphold freedom of speech and of movement and association as enshrined in our constitution. I'd rather we are even more liberal with freedom issues than feeling inclined to suppress it. These men and many more are there not only for the purpose of telling the entire nation how degenerate our society has become but to measure our tolerance level and how far we've come as a nation. If our society knows any better and people are capable of making better choices without being coerced or intimidated these men and their churches will become extinct. We cannot become intolerant with each other because we disagree. There will always be disagreements but we're a better people if we can tolerate and live peaceably with each other. Rawlings took away all of our freedom during those crazy years he was at the helm of affairs. Now that he's at the twilight of his life let's show him how far we've come as a nation from those turbulent times. Talking about regulatory bodies my question is who watches the watchman? If no laws are being broken allow the people to be their own judges and make their own decisions about what they know is right for them under the law.
