Kwame Nkrumah was right when he made Ghana a party state. He could not govern a new republic country with a high literacy population then of less than 15%. Added to that NPP the direct successor of UP and PP had always if not in power attempted to destabilize Ghana for their hunger for power. They are at it again. Be it with the Kulungugu bombs, Coups (NLC - Afrifa) supreme court or demonstrations (IMANI, AFAG and the many NPP fronts), bribery et all. NPP is not in the business of nation building. When was the last time Akufo discussed a new policy issue or an alternate policy solution. Its all complains.
They are in for personal wealth accumulation. Such unworthy goals will never fool the majority of Ghanaians

The Union that calls for strike pays the workers whilst they are on strike.By all means workers should be able to strike to protect their terms and conditions but they cannot be paid when not producing. No work no pay will concentrate minds before workers accept to go on strike.

Ghana has reached a level that needs to stop the pampering of civil service workers if it aims to gain good economic conditions. All government employees must be made to accountable in terms of productivity. One must ask yourself, what do I do during working hours that generate government income through my productive efforts to agitate for better conditions of service and benefits? Ghana is not only for those who have been fortunate enough to have been employed in the civil service. If the government strive to manage the waste in the system and eliminate unproductive employees, just like in the developed countries, there would be a better Ghana. It's about time the workers are paid when they work; and forfeit salaries when they do not work. Let's look at it this way, if one is assigned with a particular work which the worker calculate into money in terms of salaries they expect in return for the work done, then how can they be paid for doing nothing, and how can the government generate income to pay them at the end of the month? Why are all these educated fools that parade themselves as citizens of Ghana continue to sink and destroy the country to the extend of wish an uprising and a coupe d'etat? I bet you that if all these educated fools who's education has not benefited their country but is causing harm to Ghana can live or fit in else where, they would leave Ghana. The truth is that these educated fools who have the chance to study in the developed countries and know what makes a country develop have rather discarded their knowledge, education, and experience; but seeks for their selfish interest. Wake up mother Ghana and take the bull by the horns, and save Ghana from the wolves in sheep's skin.
