Many a times, when they steal the nation's money, they enjoy it freely after they have been kicked out of power. That trend must end with these group of thieves. When anyone is suspected of acquiring his/her wealth illegally and nothing is done about it by the sitting government, We the masses whose wealth has been stolen will do what the law says, just like in Burkina Faso. That is the only way thievery can end in our country.

Ace Ankomah is that all you could contribute to the debate? Everybody knows fighting corruption in Ghana is a huge joke beginning with Rawlings tragic usurpation of power in 1979. You should perhaps have come up with new idea ...

you can not fight corruption where poverty is endemic. the cedi fall is the course of poverty. we should seriousely address the cedi value. indexing import duties in dollers beat my mind, why not in cedis?

We acclaim to be a Christian nation yet we are high on the corruption radar. We are always blaming the police and the politicians, yet all of us are part of the problem and part of the solution. Go to the ministries; highly placed officials get gifts like brand new cars to fast track documents for individuals to get the juicy contracts. Our hospitals, schools and other public offices do their own thing with individuals holding on or delaying documents only to be released on time when we tip them. Scriptures says those that worship the Lord must worship him in spirit and in truth, but hold on; our giving in the church has become competitive. Much as there are genuine givers, there are some who twist peoples arms and come and give to the church. Today instead of citizens being nationalistic they prefer to be under the protection of a political party so that when the law catches up with them they can have the backing of followers to fight the law.All of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Even though corruption cannot be eliminated outright, the sensitization of the citizenry must go on to discourage and shame corruption.

Such is what people should be saying but not to point and accused Govt officials alone as corrupt. Ghana can be saved and be a better place for us all greedy people. LETS CHANGR OUR ATTITTUDE
