How different is that going to be with political party followers (those I call FOOLISH FOLLOWERS) strongly stepping in to cover these criminals hiding behind political parties? Wisdom has eluded most Ghanaians to the extent that when a criminal in politics is caught red handed in a crime, REFFERENCE IS MADE TO A SIMILAR CRIME THAT HAS GONE UNPUNISHED (when your party was in power, you did even worse) to justify the present one. This is how far we have lost our conscience. How about those who have nothing to do with any political party, what do you tell them to justify your crime. Until something is done about our constitution to give a little more autonomy to law enforcing agencies to operate without fear of reprisal from the executive branch of government, we will not be able to change much. To see a police man being ordered by the AMA Boss on the street to arrest a driver for tooting his horn, really makes a mockery of law enforcement in Ghana. If those in uniform understand the law properly, they can use their discretion in situations like these. Do you think such a policeman can arrest this AMA boss if he finds himself on the wrong side of the law? Who determines that 'the big man' has broken the law and must be arrested at once? With poverty, unemployment and deliberate attempt by politicians to DIVIDE GHANIANS ON TRIBAL LINES, it will only get worse until these are addressed. I rest my case.

O Lord I pray for Mother Ghana, that you reduce the number of FOOLISH VOTERS in 2016. Father the small number that will be left, wash their faces with sea sand so that they would be able to see the predicament they have put Ghana in through their foolish action, and change for the better. I pray that you let them vote this USELESS and CLUELESS GOVERNMENT out. Let those who these FOOLISH VOTERS envy because they are prospering as a result of which they vote foolishly so that they will be equal with them prosper even more. Father let those who are sympathetic to these USELESS VOTERS stop giving them money when they come begging, so that they will realize 'Ghana is hard', and vote wisely this time round. Lord, there are too many office to office beggars in Ghana, that is a sign of poverty, kick those who encourage this out of office. Merciful Father, too many FOOLISH VOTERS who have no sense of dignity are rewarded with trips to soccer matches only to go and sleep on the floor in foreign land, and eventually seek asylum, stamp that disgraceful spirit out of Ghana. Lord, you have blessed us with everything that can make us rich, but you seemed to have forgotten to protect mother Ghana from greedy politicians and thieves; we call on you to rise and let these nation wreakers scatter in 2016. 1. Corruption Sensitivity Training: Educate the executives(attorney general, the judges, public officials, immigration, police officers)about the short, long term effects and impacts of corruption. Corruption Sensitivity Training should be a mandatory part of interview process, class, testing requirement for all ministers and public sector officials. Make them aware of the consequences and have them sign off on this. If judges, police officers, employees are educated and made to understand the explicit and implicit impacts of corruption and how it affects their own salaries, bonuses etc. Things will change!
2. Enforce the Law: Offenders must face jail time, tickets/fines, sell assets to payback what has been stolen, name and shame offenders in media
3. Put ethical persons in positions of power

The members of AFAG should stop being hypocritical. Was it not the former president Kuffuor who stated that corruption has been around since Adam and Eve? He rightly advised that we must bring evidence of corruption that will stand the test in court or forever hold our peace.
Ghanaians have a Kweku Ananse character, always scheming to take advantage of their neighbour – the seeds that breed corruption-. All that AFAG is doing is exhibiting this character to encourage Ghanaians to vote NPP into power so they too can take advantage of our broken socio-political and economic system.
If AFAG genuinely want to help Ghana, they should be “occupying the Ministries and Departments of state” where the bulk of the corruption takes place and not the Flag Staff House. They should rather occupy the Police Service that are ineffective and keep taking bribes on our roads daily. They should occupy the law courts where disputes that should take a few months to resolve, drag on for decades and bribing of officials is rife. They should occupy Customs and Excise offices where their inefficiencies lead to delays at the ports for businesses and where bribe taking is rife. The list goes on and on.
AFAG is not sincere, and so will be any pressure group that fails to tackle Ghanaian’s problems at the roots, but choose to politicise them with gimmicks like occupy Flag Staff House.

Look here man. It's about time we get serious. It does not matter if it is AFAG, CJA, Occupy Flagstaff House or whatever group that is demonstrating. Is it true that Ghana is breaking down? Are we stagnating? Man, Kufuor has done his part but most Ghanaians were not satisfied so we brought in the NDC, so making references to Kufuor's statements is neither here nor there. Everything is wrong with Mahama and his govt and we must change them. Whether AFAG is working for the NPP is immaterial because if this govtwas doing something good, there wouldn't have been any excuse for AFAG to hit the streets in the first place.

We must be bold to embrace change as a country if we want to move forward because if we do not change govts for their corrupt acts and incompetence, it is the ordinary man on the street that suffers. We must therefore continue to change until we get it better. I agree with you that every institution is corrupt but the cause is leadership so this has everything to do with politics. The President must show the way for the people to follow.

If we don't stop playing the ostrich, very soon corruption will permeate our bedrooms!

You may choose to ignore the real motives of these subversive groups,whose raison d`etre is regime change,so they can install their favourite party in power,and engage in even worse plunder this nation has seen!
By the way,which administration gave away more than 85% of our oil wealth to foreign multi-national companies under very questionable arrangements?
Again did you ever hear this 'vuvuzela' lawyer and new anti-corruption crusader,or any of his friends raise their voices against the 'midnight- fire-sale' of Ghana Telecom to Vodafone Plc;with our stand alone priceless fiber optics assets,thrown in as a deal sweetner?
Let`s not kid ourselves,because as we Akans are fond of saying,"Adway3 foy3,ansa na nsuo b3to"!
Of course this does not mean I endorse the inept handling of many of the glaring thievery and abuses we are currently witnessing in this country!Look,as we speak,some teachers belonging to unions that went on strike recently,are engaged in defrauding their own credit unions,how about that? Have Drs.,Nurses and other health-care givers not been directly implicated in the sale of new-born babies in some of our medical facilities? What about the CLOSAG members,who have brazenly misappropriated several billions of state funds earmarked for the development of areas where the majority of our citizens live?
And need I mention the bankrupt political class,whose members find a common cause when it comes to "yenky3ndi" in this country? Did they not threaten to refuse to attend to their legislative duties some time ago,till they received their lucrative gratuities[ex-gratia payments]together with rent subsidies,ahead of everybody else? In my view, everything is rather "Wrong" with Ghanaians - from our homes,institutions,and more importantly our mindset!
