  Otumfuo, Nana Asantehene, please settle Bompata chieftaincy dispute case. As a result of this inaction on the part of your Asanteman Council, the town has been left without a queen mother for several years now, while the current illegitimate chief who resides in Accra hardly visits the town.
  
  No wonder there is no development whatsoever going on in this town. Without vision, the people really perish, especially the youth of this town. Is this what the Asanteman Council wishes for the same people they are supposed to serve?
  
  It is amazing how we fail to correct injustice in our society as leaders even if our failure to do so is detrimental to the very society we are expected to serve; yet we cry out loud for justice when the matter at hand adversely concerns us.
  
  It is equally amazing to observe that cases brought before the Asanteman Council can drag for over 40 years without any attempt to call for settlement. Such gross inefficiencies definitely call for urgent need to reform the way the Asanteman Council operates.

He deserves to die by firing squad, in the same manner and style that NDC founder, Trokosi goon and bastard, Ayigbe "Julo Kwakwe" JJ Rawlings subjected others to, when he usurped power in the 80's, and ruled for more than 20 years.   Kurontihene is ill and therefore unable to participate in that destoolment proceedings. By Chieftaincy law and Custom, The Kurontihene, Queen Mother, Gyaase and Akwamuhene are the principal King Makers. Again they are the channel for destoolment. Asantehene by custom does not directly enstool or destool a chief without the participation of these wing chieves, Asantehene acts like Court of Appeal in the Judicial system. The Court of Appeal would refer the decided case back to the High Court for a retrial of the substantive case. That is what the Asantehene should do but not to give final determination of the case in his Palace.

  The Government of Ghana has created a whole Ministry of Chieftaincy Affairs whose operation is funded with tax payers money. However, it appears this Ministry has no relevance in the country. This Kumawu chieftaincy case could became another Burkina Faso if proper measures are not taken to resolve the case in accordance with chieftaincy laws of the nation.
  
  If the Ministry of Chieftaincy Affairs do not have the necessary powers or authority to intervene in such matters, then they should be abolished with immediate effect as there is no value for money for their existence.

  I'm a grand daughter of Barima Kwame Afram, born and raised in Kumawu until I left for boarding school. I left Kumawu in 1962. But I do follow events regarding my home town. I was in Kumawu for a funeral with my foreign-born young woman in 2013 and your Queen mother was extremely rude to both myself and daughter.And that was our first encounter with her. This first hand experience has made me draw my own conclusion that she is a bully!!!!!!
