It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution

We need a progressive policy. All adverts in Ghana must be created by wholly owned Ghanaian businesses and the songs and celebrities in the adverts must be wholly Ghanaian. The celebrities and musicians must receive royalties. All the wholly owned Ghanaian entities must use wholly owned Ghanaian banks like ADB.

We must move into the era of music/movies as a service (MAAS). At least 7 out of every 10 songs, movies and TV series played on our television stations, radio stations and entertainment centres must be wholly Ghanaian and must be produced in Ghana. These stations and entertainment centres must pay on a monthly or annual basis royalties to the Ghanaian artists. The amounts paid must be reasonable taking into consideration the profits of the entertainment establishments. However they must not pay any money whatsoever to the foreign artists because of the negative effect it would have on our GDP. The Ghanaian artists must use wholly owned Ghanaian banks like ADB. Many people can recall great shows like: Kukurantumi-road to Accra, Ultimate paradise, By the fireside, I told you so, things we do for love, Akan drama with osofo dadzie, obra and co, home sweet home, TV theatre, Dr Paa Bobo´s songs etc

There is lack of will and this must change.

If president is incompetent then, all their MPS are also incompetent because the president is only the head. This is why NPP will lose again to blame God and EC after Akuffo Addo collapses and die. NPP never make sense in all their statements but just noise. When did it occur to any generation that we found ourselves free and happy without hardships? Why do NPP leaders continue making noise to gain power to come and loot again? It is disturbing when one lays down facts and gets ridiculed. Otiko is not lying by what she is saying. The truth hurts real bad. Nobody says the President should not travel or go seek for foreign aid and help. The lady is saying this is not the time. Take care of home first when things are bad, then do what glorifies later. You don't go visiting Accra when your family is dying of hunger in Nandom. You don't go feasting in 5 star dinning rooms when your family eats day old fufu and touzaafis and tell them to buy home-grown shoes while you wear $1,000.00 alligator shoes. Let's face it my country men, All is not well at home, and we should not politicize every critique that has the well being of the State at heart coz the one bringing things to our attention is from another party. The truth is the truth whether it is being told by a Muslim, Christian, Pagan or a total non-believer. This is the cause of our down fall. We careless what we do as long as we're doing it. Just shut up and let us do what we want. Do yours when your time comes. Too bad, we will keep suffering till we start seeing and telling the truth.
