  The funny thing is that they normally dont survive beyond the terms of the govts who patronize them into existence.
  
  How can any African with his/her head screwed on right, ever imagine bestowing the likes of Obasanjo with an award of any kind?

  A Former German Leader was Prosecuted and Disgraced because he was said to have compromised himself for a mere 600 EUROS. If this had happened in Africa, Prosecution would be for TWO reasons: that he was so STUPID to have seriously LOWERED the BAR and also being Stupid enough to get CAUGHT for stealing what an African Leader should feel embarrassed to give to his Girl Friend for ONE DAY's Chop money.

  The bastard and idiot Obasanjo should never be mentioned when it comes to Ghana-Nigeria relations. The swine was ruling Nigeria (as military head of state) at a time Ghana was facing several economic challenges. He could have initiated a mini-Marshal Plan of a sort to bail out Ghana at that time. I can remember a purposeful Nigerian journalist rooted and clamoured for such to happen but the idiot never cared. How many countless hapless Ghanaians the idiot did not execute on his farm at Ota?
  
  Conferring an honour of any description on the swine and bastard must be condemned. He is the most corrupt Nigerian ruler alive. The moron even slept with his son's wife (an allegation by the son which till today the stupid man kept mum - meaning he actually did it). His own country should rather honour him and NOT Ghana because he did nothing to benefit Ghana at all. To hell with the bastard Obasanjo.

  He was honored by UDS in Tamale too and some of us are still wondering the criteria they used in awarding him.
