Is lonrho in partnership with ghana government and if so what is lonrho's share and what is the government's share ? Who are the other shareholders ? The total we are told when added together comes to 110%. How is that possible ?

The Nzema area has been neglected for a very long time and the harbour, when constructed, will not only provide an employment facility for the people but, also, will open the area up so that other industries can follow suit. Ultimately, the people then can get the benefit from the oil find in their area. An open call is; every Nzema should support the construction of the harbour if the potential dangers and the interim adverse impact on the livelihood of the community for its construction are addressed.

Let all Ghanaians know the facts and never rely on twisted facts presented by NDC advocates who believe in propaganda as the best tool for governance. First of all, the Kuffour administration thought it wise (with the wisdom of the so called 'Dwarf'- Nana Addo) to get rid of the Rig purchased by JJs NDC for oil exploitation and left abandoned without any operations but costing Ghanaians thousands of $$$ daily. They had to sell it to pay off that dubious Rig contract which only gave cut offs to fill the then govt officials pockets. After that, the Kuffour administration went into contract with foreign companies at no cost to Ghanaians with the promise to recuperate their cost if they found the oil. This move was prudent because it inspired the undertakers to find oil at all cost. Remember that this potential oil field was discovered way back before Ghana's independence but no govt could visualize how to explore it. The deal Kuffour's administration struck with the explores would have giving Ghana a lower percentage of the revenue initially to pay off their initial cost by 5 yrs and thereafter, Ghana would have received 100% revenue to alleviate all the development hardships we are facing now. Instead, another NDC diabolical govt led by Mahama and his cronies took over and nullified all previous arrangements on the oil fields. As usual, they brought in those foreign companies that would give them cut offs to fill their pockets and mortgaged the little percentage that Ghana had for loans. Again, their aim is to fill their pockets with the billions of $$$ they have collected. Please, tell me what so called developments this NDC govt has done in Ghana for the last 6 yrs that will account for over 50 billion $$$$ received through loans and grants since it came into office 2008? Don't forget that from the time of Ghana's independence led by Nkrumah up to the time Kuffour left office in 2008, Ghana's overall debt owing was less than 10 billion $$$. How come this govt alone has borrowed over 50 billion $$ in less than 8 yrs in office and claim they have used it for their Better Ghana agenda. Where is that Better Ghana? If this is how Better Ghana should look like, then please give us back the Normal Ghana we had when NPP was in power. Countrymen, let us WAKE UP and SMELL THE SMOKE!!!
