Do you really understand what these workers are demanding?These Western Oil companies are like vultures feasting on the natural resources of their victims,if you don't fight them off they would finish you dry.Russia mighty as they may be had the same problem when Boris Yelsin sold all their oil companies to Western companies,it took the singular effort of Vladimir Putin to fight them off,for Russians to benefit from their own resources.This is part of the reason why Putin is now their No. 1 enemy,but at least his citizens are now enjoying.It is up to the leaders of Ghana to decide on how well our resources shd be exploited.

MODEC should stump their authority and resist any attempt to recall those lazy partisan tribal begot who were recruited for them by the moribund NPP party before leaving office. If any other local worker agitates, he/she should be fired. The condition of service for local staffs, regional staff and international staff is spelt out for all workers. If pay check for international worker is USD 20,000.00 and that of a local staff is USD 1,000. You have the opportunity to apply as an international staff to be paid the USD 20,000. But you cant apply as local staff with paycheck of 1000USD and turn round to agitate for USD 20,000 paycheck that is reserved for international staff. This is a dishonest at the highest level. How on earth can a local staff demand salary that is for international staff. At the time of entry into the job, did they not know that the company has different categories of staff?. Local lazy buffoons.

MODEC has a secret agenda for apathaid system to be practised in the company as a means of silensing workers from opening their mouths against injustices perpetrated against Ghanaian workers with the company.They do not have an iota of respect for Ghanaian workers in general since they even dont respect the views of the mother union of the 28 workers affected in the recent dismissals.As much as they seek the interest of their company so as workers interests are paramount by workers all accros the country.They should therefore endeavour to exercise due circumspect of the action and inaction of their attitudes towards Ghanaian workers employed with the company.

I wonder why people are backing these useless guys who have gotten jobs that are paying them a whooping amount of 4000Ghana cedis a month. If workers with competency in their various field are paid such amount i wouln't be surprise they will be any form of strike. However because of petty politics they will resort to somthing that will later cost them their jobs and family. They should go and ask most of Tarkwa mines graduates in Sierra Leone, Congo and Burkina Faso whether thier salaries are the same as the host nation workers. This is simple as that. Wherever expatriates are paid dollar equivalent not the local currency. If you have problem you can discuss it but to compare your salary to an expatriate shows how infantile these so called workers. Masa 3dwumanho 3denooo yooo. Modi3 mogyimi! if you come home, your realized even 500 ghana a month you will take. Follow that old desperado who needs presidency to pay his debts after his fathers booty is almost finished.
