How did that happen,so they knew something like that was happening but did not arrest the person up until she arrived in London,where did she pass with the cocaine without anybody detecting it at screening,how come they did not detect that there was a strange item in her bag to recheck the bag even if they couldn't tell if it was cocaine,why they did not double check the bag since definitely that bag with that item cannot clear the machine,but set alarm to alert the screener to call a supervisor or a colleague to check that bag again?
Investigate everyone who was on duty at that check point that night,either they knew about it or they don't know what they are doing and whatever it is they do not deserve to be there.

I just can't understand why under this Mahama led administration, Ghana is always in the News for the bad reasons. This NDC woman is a well known cocaine dealer, with connections within the higher echelon of the ruling party. If not, how come that with the BNI and all the security details at the Kotoka International Airport, this woman was able to pass through all the security check points with consummate ease?
This is where the BNI should explain why they arrested the CITI FM boss. If anything at all, they should have arrested all the BNI operatives at the KIA at the time the woman bought her way through with the drugs. 12kilograms of cocaine through KIA means those security operatives on duty that day were specifically detailed by the NDC Cocaine apparatus to ensure smooth transfer of the drugs unto the plane.
It is easy to plan the movement of the 'good' with the connivance of BNI operatives, but it is not easy to outwit the British intelligence operatives.
Whether the Ghanaian woman was traveling with a Russian or Ukraine passport is neither here nor there. It is irrelevant. The fact remains that she is a Ghanaian, and boarded the plane from KIA. And that our security operatives failed in their duty to detect the crime. This was so because there is a conspiracy between the dealers and the security operatives to commit the crime.
If we are serious as a country to fight the war against the drug menace, then all security personnel on duty at the time the said lady boarded the plane must assist the police in their investigations. In fact their appointments must be terminated forthwith to serve as a deterrent to others.
The BNI should stop throwing dust into peoples eyes by arresting media practitioners for breaking the News for public consumption. This scare crow approach by the BNI in fighting the drug menace would take us nowhere.

How did the Ghana Narcotics Control agency fail to detect the cache before the woman left Ghana, and then come back and claim to have corroborated with the guys in London to burst this lady? If Ghana NAC board had any info, why did they not stop her in Ghana but allowed her to taint the nation's name in London?

Ghana and Austria has no dual citizenship agreement, I therefore wonder how the lady in question could be in possession of both passports of the two countries.
Another question I would like people help me get answer is, if indeed the said lady travelled with Austrian passport from Ghana as claimed by the NCOB, Why did the British authority not identify and describe her as Austrian but rather Ghanaian. there are more questions to be answered.

Clearly, this action by the NDC BNI security apparatus was to divert attention from the very facts of the matter, which is a Nayeli Ametefe with very strong links with the NDC gov't and party, travelling on a diplomatic passport, and was to be met by the Ghana mission in the UK on arrival, after passing through the VVIP lounge of the Kotoka International airport, was picked up by the UK Police carrying trunkloads and bagloads of cocaine with a street value of over $5million dollars.
The BNI swoop on the Boss of CitiFm, was clearly to divert attention from the issues, which are how bagloads of cocaine could pass through the VVIP lounge of KIA in the full glare of the security apparatus, how diplomatic passport was allegedly used to facilitate the trade, and why the alleged NDC political heavyweights implicated in this drug saga, had not been invited.
Clearly, BNI's action was politically motivated with the aim of quelling the story about the stinking drug trade amongst the NDC gov't and party machinery. The Boss of CitiFM needs to be compensated for wrongful arrest.

I'm sticking with the facts as put out there by CitiFM. The action of BNI was mis-directed and very faraway from the focus of where the real arresting should be taking place. The CitiFm Boss in the fight against corruption and such criminal activities that has become quite common in the Mahama-led NDC gov't, the CitiFm Boss should have been regarded as a Whistleblower instead of a criminal, instead of the NDC BNI apparatus seeking to put the fear of the Lord in him, which would not work, not in present day Ghana. I still insist it was a wrongful arrest and he deserves compensation and I'm sticking with the story from CitiFm. They are credible and have been credible.

Young woman, the crux of the matter is, the Mahama-led NDC gov't has been caught issuing diplomatic passports to facilitate the drug trade by NDC apparatchiks. That is the crux of the matter as reported. The lady in question managed to cart suitcase-loads of hard, high grade cocaine and was busted.
The lady in question is said to have very, very strong ties to the Mahama-led NDC gov't and the party. Those are the facts.
The denial of the facts would not wish the story away because those are the facts. Instead of working yourself up, in defending the indefensible, which is characteristic of the NDC anyway, accept the facts as they are, which is, NDC apparatchiks have been issued with diplomatic passports, and are using the VVIP lounge of KIA to facilitate their drug trade, and that recklessness, needs to be addressed. Increasingly, it is becoming apparent that, the impunity of the NDC drug barons are hurting the image of the country.
Indeed, Martin Amidu yesterday raised the awareness of the lack of the political will of the Mahama-led NDC gov't to fight the drug trade in which he cited the case of a drug baron who was whisked out of the country in Hollywood style in a very bizarre manner involving the Ag's office in Ashanti region. Those are the facts.
The issue of the drug menace is not going to go away, if the governing have an influence in the trade, and that is what the CitiFm Boss, sought to bring into the public domain, and instead of the Mahama-led NDC gov't burying it's head in the sand like the proverbial ostrich, and seeking to kill the story because of perceived political fallout, they need to take the bull by the horn and dismantle that apparatus in the NDC party and gov't, which would want to drag the collective name of every Ghanaian in the mud by using Ghana as the sub-regional hub and transit point for everything cocaine, and would not want the citizenry to speak about, hear about it because of political expediency.
