TUC leadership must stop following the npp agenda to cause disturbances in ghana. can there be no opposition within the TUC itself, why must the generality be cowed into compliance everytime like 'mumu' When you retire, you become an individual, if your pension money is not well managed, tuc will not be there to help you. now they want to take your money where they the unions will make a profit wiht the npp. NPP needs that money for electionneering campaign!!

  When did Ghana depend on its scanty oil? We buy oil from the world market, so this strike cannot be an excuse for any fuel shortage. Always taking undue advantage to inflect hardship on people.

  The question is why should a foreigner earn more than a local for performing the same work? I think the Government and the Company should sit and do real talking about the issue. You won't even believe that at times the locals work more than the foreigners and yet they receive more than the locals. This to me is not fair at all. We have all been affected by this at our workplaces.

  I believe this Union's are not doing anything bad.
  but I would rather encourage them to look out and fish out many of such companies who denied workers of their rightful salaries.

  Please, my brothers and sisters. the religious books of must of the religions says, do onto others the way you would want it to be done onto you.could you believe that apart from our acadamic education,all our job related courses are charged in dollas and convented in cedis by most of our job related institutions.most of us have not lest than five (5)to twenty (20)years of experience in deferent kinds of vessel such as oil tankers drilling rigs FSO production platforms rifineries just to mention but few.So what the companies are painting out there is not true.let us face the true, in any job you will need some insight,in the form of briefing and on the job training,which term as (OJT)this doesn't mean that we are novice.i cant use this platform to explain everything now but in someday all the through will come out thank you all.consent worker. long live Ghana unionism long live GHANA.Arise Ghana youth for your country arise.
