  Any Tunisian or Burkinabee-syle revolution in this country will have to start from the parliament as it happened in Burkina Faso. Our parliamentarians are so hopeless that the Executive can easily manipulate them to deplete our coffers. If someone hadn't blown the whistle about the GNPC's $700mln dubious loan, the booty could have been shared and squandered without our notice. And Parliament should have been at the forefront calling for the CEO to resign.
  
  Obviously, Ghanaians are still not hearing the whole story, and we may never know exactly what the money was going to be used for. We believe GNPC would have hurriedly approached parliament for approval, if the recent massaged justification given by the CEO was really true and the company had nothing to hide.
  
  This whole thing smells like a stinking rot, and the so-called representatives of the people, hired and over paid to examine and authorize spending, must live up to the expectation and do their work properly. They have a duty to make sure that the dubious loan is either cancelled or used for the intended purpose, and not allow the money to go down the drain into the pockets of politicians and their cronies as usual.

  Though it is alleged she did not travel on a Ghanaian diplomatic passport, is she a current or past HOLDER of a Ghanaian diplomatic passport? if yes, under what circumstances was the diplomatic passport issued to her?
  
  How did she get through Kotoka airport customs check-point? 12.5kg of cocaine for God's sake !!! Are security operations at Kotoka airport that loose?
  
  Why did officials of the Ghana high commission in the UK go to receive her at Heathrow airport on her arrival?
  
  Why is Ghana High Commissioner Victor Smith personally going to visit the lady as she is in custody?
  
  Does the high commissioner go "PERSONALLY" to visit all Ghanaian's arrested for drug trafficking in the UK?

  Lets see the Mahama spin-doctors dance their way out of this one...Felix Ofosu Kwakye, Sam George, and spin-doctor Omane Boamah...kindly proceed to the dance floor.
  
  There is a school of thought that indicates the economic situation in Ghana is so bad that the NDC party will need a "warehouse full of cash" to survive as a political party after 2016; Fortiz isn't doing too well these days...
  
  The NDC party financiers are all falling foul of the law...from Mr. Alfred Agbesi Woyome...to Ms. Nayele Ametefe.
  
  Many in the NDC party have already resigned themselves to the year 2000 election scenario...and this time the NDC will not only loose the presidency but the parliament as well; reasons:
  
  1. Election 2012 opened the eyes of every Ghanaian to the shenanigans of the the EC;
  
  2. We will have the voting records of all members of parliament via the "Chinese" equipment in parliament. We now have a very good basis to put individual MPs on the spot to defend their voting records; and furthermore, grill them on whether the think through and fully appreciate the implications of their actions in parliament
  
  We draw the attention of the NDC party, President Mahama, and NDC ministers of state to the efforts that we at "Occupy Ghana" are driving to encourage adoption of the USA-styled "no-visa, no-fly" black-list to be adopted by the United Nations.

  The Speaker needs to stop running his mouth and make sure he and his colleague MPs are doing the country's work. You can't pass laws to choke free speech.
