Any Tunisian or Burkinabee-syle revolution in this country will have to start from the parliament as it happened in Burkina Faso. Our parliamentarians are so hopeless that the Executive can easily manipulate them to deplete our coffers. If someone hadn't blown the whistle about the GNPC's $700mln dubious loan, the booty could have been shared and squandered without our notice. And Parliament should have been at the forefront calling for the CEO to resign.

Obviously, Ghanaians are still not hearing the whole story, and we may never know exactly what the money was going to be used for. We believe GNPC would have hurriedly approached parliament for approval, if the recent massaged justification given by the CEO was really true and the company had nothing to hide.

This whole thing smells like a stinking rot, and the so-called representatives of the people, hired and over paid to examine and authorize spending, must live up to the expectation and do their work properly. They have a duty to make sure that the dubious loan is either cancelled or used for the intended purpose, and not allow the money to go down the drain into the pockets of politicians and their cronies as usual.

And my biggest worry is that, where do some of these local newspapers who cant write get their alleged statistics about floating voters and all that from?

Perhaps they the newspapers need to be told in plain language that we the floating voters of Accra and Ghana are averse to such manufactured and calibrated lies and calumny.

Gabby can forget about Akufo-Addo becoming President so that he can help Akufo-Addo turn Ghana unpside down. Akufo-Addo's camp has blamed his repeated failures on Kufuor, Kyeremanten, and others within the NPP, but never on his own missteps.

The last time I checked NDC has #Fucked the country to the extent that, Accra is now one of the most filthiest cities in the world. It is in the life time of NDC that cholera has and continues to kill in all the regions. It is also in the life time of the NDC that state institutions has ceased to function as state bodies anymore. The list goes on and on.

As for the theft and plunder of state resources and tax payers wealth, the least said the better, because some of us can get high blood pressure for elaborating further what the malady is.

Cheap shots at Gabby Otchere-Darko wouldn't do it for the NDC this trip. You kind are ruthless and damn greedy and it is a fact. I propose firing squad for all corrupt officials in this and past governments, will u help me get this proposal to the fore front of national politics? Will you, please do something patriotic for once rather than, the me! Me! Me! Mindset u are perpetually locked in. Do something honourable for NDC and Ghana for once so that when u die one day, u may be remembered as a good citizen of the land.

Otherwise, when u depart one day, all the deeds u assisted the crude system to wrought on your fellow citizens will mean nothing. All the material things you have acquired as a result will mean nothing b'cos there isn't a guarantee your children will even take the right decisions after your demise.
