If he doesnt heed this advice, and usurp power and steals the peoples verdict then I am afraid there may be no Ghana for him to rule. In the end he will be exiled or worse. Mahama should consult the old experienced hands, one is Major rtd Abu Brimah. His recommendations to Limann if implemented would have saved the nation in 1981.
Mahama must focus on quality delivery of goods and services. He must lead the fight against corruption by declaring his assets, that of his family publicly. He must resource the anti corruption agencies, name and shame corrupt ones. Finally, there is the need to rehabilitate the Limann family for the injustices of the past must be corrected.

One conspicuous fact in this observation by the Al-Hajj is that the youthful, inexperienced Officials may well be more materially-minded, impatient to rise to riches and have no established reputation to defend.

In that situation, it becomes plausible that these youthful Officials do not find much to lose by risking highly to steal and pilfer National assets.

I strongly believe that the young ought to be assigned portfolios that enable them to learn from the experienced. Hence, my preference for a mix of talented Youths with requisite Educational background and 'weather-proof', time-tested reputable and experienced seniors.

It seems as if the pervasive corruption alleged to be on-going in the Mahama Administration follows the tracks of these youthful leaderships in the various Agencies and Ministries throughout the Government.

It would be a great lesson for all the Youths and posterity, should the Government come down hard on all who trample on our freedom and laws to defraud the Nation. Long prison sentences in addition to full retrieval of monies concerned and interest meted out to the culprits would be significant deterrence for posterity and even other youths waiting to occupy similar positions in the future.
