There's a feeling the Mahama NDc gov't knows who leaked the operation to the UK border security operatives, and Victor Smith's visit was to recreate the whole trip by the arrested NDC drug baron to fill in the gaps and connect the dots, about this NDC drug baron's journey with amazingly huge tonnes of cocaine, which has implicated the seat of gov't.
The NDC party knows who leaked the operation, and the visit by Victor Smith was to ascertain what went wrong against their most carefully laid down plans, because as Ghanaians would recall, the NDC drug baron was arrested and canned by the UK authorities, and the matter was kept under wraps for a whole week, while it was boiling until it exploded, and the fallout has been anything but a gargantuan disaster for the NDC party and gov't.
The NDC gov't has clearly been exposed for engaging in the drug trade, and Hon. Martin Amidu actually articulated it best when he said that, the Mahama NDC gov't and party lacked the political will to deal with the canker of illicit drug trafficking, why because, it's an unspoken word within the corridors that matter in the drug trade and the NDC party were deeply embedded in it.
It was interesting when Omane Boamah jumped right off the blocks to dissociate the NDC drug baron from the Mahama first family, which assertion has been discredited by recent revelations.
Ghana deserves better because the Mahama NDC gov't is crippling the country, and it is spiraling out of control. Clearly the Mahama NDC gov't needs a break at the ballot box in 2016. Ghana deserves the best.

The plain fact is that Ghana should be serious and more interested in dealing with drug peddling cases actual and suspected rather than outsourcing it to foreign jurisdictions.
The laxity of Ghana coupled with the involvement of highly placed officials in the illicit trade tarnishes the image of the country and leaves travelers from Ghana exposed to all sorts of unnecessary scrutiny on foreign lands.

This quote attributed to Professor Gadzekpo only exposes her ignorance about intelligence sharing amongst security agencies all over the world. It will do her image a lot of good if she sticks to her job of producing sub standard journalists in Ghana.
