ECG Boss is not the one to be blamed here. The problem lies with Mr. Mahama. Until we get rid of this man and his lying bunch of thieves, Ghana will know no progress. Governance is not propaganda, it is serious business.

But Mahama and his administration are just making a mockery of Ghana. They are simply telling how dubious, corrupt and insincere they are.
Why am I making such serious accusations? People like Asiedu Nketia are very dishonest. Asiedu Nketia is a thief, and a big one whose stealth and stealing prowess has been covered by NDC only to surface now. I am calling for the apprehension of Asiedu Nketia if Mahama is serious and that he is not using ECG CEO as a diversionary tactic.
Look, Asiedu Nketia was a poor, struggling teacher like every Ghanaian. After he became an NDC operative, he has become a multimillionaire! He's worth over $100 million (One hundred million US Dollars).
How did he Asiedu Nketia, a poor teacher, with mediocre academic strength become an overnight millionaire if he did not dip his hands in the treasury.
If Mahama cannot call Asiedu Nketia like any other citizen to explain how he got his wealth, then he should leave the managing director of ECG alone.

It is about time the President in his capacity as the Constitutional Chief of Ghana shakes up things. Let go all non performing and corrupt officials at the top.
When there is some amount of fear and uncertainties at your job people turn to perform better(my emphasis is on some amount).

Dum so has been a problem from Rawlings through your ever darling Kuffour to Attah Mills. Nothing positive has come out of ECG, Ghana GRID AND WHAT HAVE YOU. lACK OF POWER AND RELAIBLE SUPPLY OF ENERGY STAGNATES THE ECONOMIC PROGRESS OF ANY NATION. dUM so is a national security issue.

Oh the MD is a Reverend that is why he never pricked his mind to find solutions to the problem. He has based all his actions and thoughts to the Bible.

Under Hutton-Mensah's watch 77 power transformers were stolen and he claimed the transformers got missing! Can u believe this? Be on the lookout. Now that Hutton-Mensah has been sacked a lot of the ROT he caused and his LOOTING the coffers of ECG will be exposed. He has been THE MOST USELESS MD ECG EVER HAD. In any serious nation, considering the erratic power supply,the govt would have taken advantage of the fall of crude oil prices to reduce fuel prices so industries can run on generators. Now what do we see? Govt has rather increase fuel prices to ensure that industries cannot afford to buy fuel to power industries on generators and as a result close down and import everything from China.

I don’t doubt my analysis and I can say this government is the worst ever had in recent times of our political history. The government claims provision of infra-structure is unparallel in the history of this country which is a laughable assertion. South Africa’s power utility started rolling blackouts in the country because of maintenance problems and after backup supplies were depleted.

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd. started the cuts because of high unplanned equipment breakdowns and “the exhaustion of our contingency measures” that include hydropower plants and diesel-fueled turbines, Andrew Etzinger, a spokesman for the Johannesburg-based company, said by phone today. The electricity-reduction plan will last until 8 p.m. and resume at 9 a.m. for the next two days, the utility said in a statement.

The utility increased the amount of capacity that is taken offline to as many as 2,000 megawatts, known as stage 2 load-shedding, this afternoon, it said in an e-mailed statement. Earlier, it was at stage 1, or 1,000 megawatts.

Eskom was earlier this month forced to implement managed blackouts in the continent’s second-largest economy after a coal silo cracked and collapsed, blocking conveyor lines to units at its Majuba plant. The utility struggles to meet demand with an aging fleet. Large industrial users including steelmaker ArcelorMittal’s local unit and BHP Billiton Ltd., the world’s biggest mining company, are required to reduce demand to avoid a total collapse of the grid.

Npp under president kufour and his able ministers negotiated to secure constant flow of gas to ghana. The truth is Nigeria authorities have no trust in the current mahama administration.
Mr president I would have loved to see the exit of the energy minister followed by yourself as president because you have woefully failed ghanaians.
